They have an amazing happy hour menu from 2-6 pm and it’s 3 items (garden roll, bao or pho) for only $10. The beef satay pho was mind blowing. We would come back to downtown just for that dish. Friendly staff and efficient service as well. The drinks are well priced too only $5.25 for a fun unique coffee/matcha drinks. Way better than paying $8 for matcha some where else.

Tried the beef mini-pho (lil slices of brisket inside) and 2 salad rolls (lemongrass chicken, lemongrass beef).
Very flavourful, and a great deal. Loved that the rolls had dark green lettuce and also a lil purple cabbage inside, so nourishing. Happy to see that they also do catering and are now also open for breakfast.
Clean, bright, modern interior, with very kind staff. Will definitely come back, and also visit their full-service/bigger location (near Hastings & Boundary) if in the neighborhood.

Quality yes, price absolutely, service outstanding. This is one of my favourite fall spots, and they do all three things as well, and you feel it’s modern, a little bit of Vietnamese with half the seating, and they’ve also got a stool seating as well. I love the management, and the staff are super friendly. And I definitely recommend the roles.

Absolutely love Chao Mami Express and the friendly people who work there. The food is all extremely fresh and high quality. The happy hour deal from 2-6 is one of the best value in the city.
I highly recommend the AAA beef pho, pork belly Bao, duck Bao, beef roll, and the salted coffee! You won’t regret it!

I’ve become a regular at this place, especially because of their incredible happy hour deal. For just $10, you can order any three items. I usually order three salad rolls, but sometimes I opt for a small size pho. The quality of the food is so fresh and flavorful. They put a lot of effort into making sure their customers are satisfied. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
