The first half didn’t taste too bad…. But then took a closer look at the second half and the bread is moldy…. I’ve worked in food service for over a decade…. It is not hard to look through your bread…. Which also means it’s not fresh or even made there. Honestly really sad since you’re the only restaurant in town and family owned. I also really hope I don’t get sick at all, I just got food poisoning a couple weeks ago from a place in owego…. It’s also just bread frozen chicken and hot sauce and you’re charging $10…. Maybe you should take it off the menu all together.

The pizza is pretty good. I’d definitely come back and order it. The calzone was not good. Not sure what was going on with that thing, but I wouldn’t get it again. The waitress was super nice!

Food is good for the most part. Not too keen on their Pizza though, but that’s just my opinion!!

Lived here for years. First time ordering a full Stromboli (no peppers, add bacon)
HIGHLY Recommend!! It’s big and full of meat, it’s great. New favorite item on their menu.
DO NOT FORGET TO GET EXTRA RANCH!
Photo doesn’t give it the proper justice

Best pizza in the Southern tier . Real genuine old world hospitality the staff and food are all the reason to go back again and again. Loved my experience.

My wife and I ordered a large hot sub and the BLT chicken salad, a kids rigatoni and meatball , plus two tossed salsas and two slices of the Stromboli pizza and were charged $66 and change. It’s crazy how much we were charged. The food is good sometimes and others horrible. Never consistent.. this time it was horrible. We could have gone to olive garden and spent just as much and been stuffed and enjoyed it a lot more. And we won’t be recommending to anyone or going back.

Unusual stuff in salads and not fresh. But the loaded fries were good but wish there was more fires and less cheese

Subs with “the works” had 2 slivers of onion and 1 tomato slices per side, 2 banana pepper slices, a few pieces of lettuce for an entire large sandwich. Slim pickings. A big piece of bread with little inside plus mayonnaise. We’ve had good subs here before, so it’s disappointing to pay a fair price for a below average sandwich.

For the little town of Newark Valley, this place is good. They have a charming, homey atmosphere with good service and a friendly waitstaff. The prices are fair, and most the food is very good. The spaghetti and meatballs is always a solid choice. I loved their sauce. If you stop in be sure to get something they make from scratch. If you are in the area and hungry it is worth a visit.
