So, I tore into my plate and remembered a few minutes later to take a picture…sorry! The portions are very generous! The smell was AMAZING and to taste my food was just as AMAZING! My meal consisted of oxtail, plantains, rice/beans, and cabbage. This will not be my last visit to T&D! The environment is welcoming and the location off exit 1 is easy to navigate, no matter your direction. Thank you for such a delicious experience T&D!

Customer Service was immaculate! Ms. Isa took her time to explain each part of the menu, from the entrees to the patties etc & drink options. She even asked the cook if I could sample a item. It was delicious!!! I got 4 plates bc of her & yes I will be back to try the “Escovish Fish” & the “Rasta Pasta” she recommended. Thank You for answering all my questions politely & taking the time to be understanding. The food is authentic & among the best/only Jamaican/Caribbean in the area. 4.5 Stars – Food: Just a tad too savory. The oxtail was still delicious. I actually liked the plantains. I usually hate plantains. When you eat it with the oxtail and rice, the flavors of each item balanced each other out. I just needed a hint of more spice & heat. The cabbage was bland ehhhh…. But the quantity overrules the taste factors. Rice and beans were good. I still don’t like beans.
I will definitely come back to try the mutton. 🙂

Wait staff does not know you can get the Escovitch to order. She acted like she has never heard of it, yet, it is on the screen. I personally will not order something that the staff does not even know is on the menu. It didn’t matter if it was made to order, the fact she didn’t know it was an option is a “NO” to me.

I just had lunch here. This has always been my favorite Jamaican spot. I was excited to see they have a combo with oxtails and goat! My two favorite dishes. Everything was delicious with plenty of food.

So this is the second time I’ve here and the food was much better than the first. My recommendation is that you don’t come to eat an hour before closing. The food will be half done or burnt.

Hands down the best Jamaican food I have had in Clarksville! Got the lunch special, which at the time of writing is $7.95 and includes a 1 and a half chicken thighs, a drumstick, rice, beans, and a slaw. I also got a minced beef patty that was very delicious too. Highly recommend!
