Yes, it’s a grocery store, but this is the most underrated breakfast spot! We have ordered breakfast here a few times and we’re always impressed. My husband loves their breakfast sandwich, and says the bread is super fresh and loves their fresh fruit on the side. I’ve gotten the traditional American breakfast and it’s always cooked the way I like. The pancakes are huge and delicious too! Other great thing about this location is there’s a Starbucks so you can get your favorite coffee drink to go with your meal. Parking is never an issue, and they have an outdoor patio so we can bring our dog when it’s nice out!

The market grill generally does a good job. It’s fast to get in for breakfast on the weekends. But to be honest, it’s hit and miss sometimes. Had to go to the diary department to buy my own french vanilla creamer for my coffee, which I was surprised of seeing it Mother’s day. I feel they could do that themselves if they were out. The prices are good and the food was good.

Great prices, but I decided to eat in this time. 40 minutes later, I go up there and find out that they had given my food to somebody else. I’m not quite sure how you can do that, since they give you a number and you put it on the table. I had this happen to a friend of mine about 2 weeks ago also, so this isn’t the one time deal

This is an above average grocery store with many options. I would have given this store a five-star rating, but the food court needs some work. Food in the food court can be dry, overcooked, and seems to be sitting out for a while. The grocery area would get five stars for selection and quality.

Apparently this is the only Hyvee market grille that serves their hibachi food with one bowl so you get far less portions than anywhere else. All the other Hyvee locations serve two bowls. One bowl for rice and one for veggies. They were told by corporate to start doing this. Seems odd as all the other locations still use two bowls and it’s been two bowls for along time.

Food isn’t that great but my biggest complaint is every time we go here for their breakfast, their waffle machine is broken. We’ve been here 3 different times the first time being at least a year ago and as I said, every single time their waffle machine has been broken. Are you guys EVER going to get it fixed? Why are you even offering waffles on your menu when you obviously have no intention of ever fixing it?

Poorly staffed, poorly organized. I’ve been to other hyvees and their food was great. This was sad. The first three things I asked for when I ordered, they were out of. Then I watched painfully as two people attempted to cook for what I believe was the first time in their lives. They didn’t know where the ingredients were or how to use the oven. I can only assume they were unable to hire cooks and pulled people from shelf stocking to staff this.

Seems to be a VERY high employee turnover which in my experiences explains the poor service and food quality. I don’t expect gourmet food from a hyvee food court but still I expect a level of professionalism and fresh hot food, neither of which can be found at this location. I don’t know what needs to be fixed behind the scenes but something needs to be done.

Asian food was mediocre, fried rice had no flavor. It was barely above room temp. Took 20 minutes to get a kids meal hotdog and cheese curds.

That was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life staff were really rude service was horrible my wife had hair in her pancakes and once we paid and left the next day credit card charge was $10 more I believe these people have a way to dip their own selves. What’s worse when I called to dispute the charge they argued with me and asked me for receipt to prove purchase although they have the receipt that they forged.
