We offers a diverse range of juicy seafood, including shrimp, oysters, blue crab, snow crab, crawfish, clams, mussels, Dungeness crab, and lobster. All of our seafood is sold according to weight. Once weighed, the crabs and other seafood will be mixed with the restaurant’s famous sauce and served in steam bags. Instead of the traditional methods of using a knife and fork, hands are applied directly. The restaurant will provide gloves, bibs, and other “tools” upon request. The finger-licking goodness of The Tasty Crab seafood will leave a lingering flavorful taste in your mouth!

One of the best places in Chicagoland to eat some affordable cajun seafood boil, located in the heart of Skokie.
The food is fresh and good and comes out quickly especially on the weekend when its busy.
They have a good range of seafood from blue crab to snow crab and king crab, mussels, calamari, lobster, crawfish, shrimp, clams and oysters. Besides boil they have fried food as well.
The ambiance is nice and decorated well to fit the seafood vibe. This restaurant was the former location of Bonefish Grill which is a decent size restaurant.
The service is friendly and prompt as well.

Went here for the first time and we were absolutely blown away by the service AND food!!!!
Alex was our server and he was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly how to introduce the restaurant and had the best recommendations.
We got the medium tasty seasoning and it was perfect!!!! Not bland or too salty. Everything was delicious.

I happen to be in the area looking on Google for a place to have an early dinner and decided to try this restaurant being we love seafood. The place was clean, quiet and the service was good. The seafood boil was yummy and reasonably priced. I would recommend the Mild Cajun & garlic as your seasoning. Very tasty

Yum! The food here was delicious, especially served in the boil bags — there’s just something about that style that makes the whole meal even more fun and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is clean, including the bathrooms, and the atmosphere is good and inviting.

This place was absolutely amazing. Great service, clean and friendly. The food was hot, seasoned and very good. Highly recommend. Fresh seafood and hot food overall. Farrah was our host and she went over and beyond and was very professional and friendly. Great food and laughs with her. The owner came out and greeted us. The first time I had ate from this restaurant the food was good. I gave them another try. I placed this order through DoorDash yesterday. I did a taste test on one of the shrimp; not knowing some of the shrimp in the bag had these black spots on them. The shrimp I did tasted looked normal and it had a usual taste that wasn’t too bad so I ignored it. I closed the bag up to shake it around and when I opened up bag that’s when I saw the shrimps that had them black spots. I took the picture and as I start searching it more like that. Then I went to report it to DoorDash. I Felt like I ate something contaminated. The fact someone would put shrimp that look like this in someone bag is crazy especially since it been recalls on Shrimp in certain states.

Awesome seafood boil restaurant with great selection of seafood and great seasoning (Tasty Special- Hot). Good weekend specials and can put together your own combos by the half pound which were filling. Beware, you will probably make a mess even with the bib & gloves! Incredibly messy & incredibly tasty!

Was looking for a unique seafood spot and we sure found it.
The place is in a strip mall and the decor is pretty modern and lightly decorated with nautical theme (hanging fish, oars, etc).
We are seated promptly and given menus, along with the specials. I do recommend the specials which seems to have a bit more food for the money.
We did get appetizers and the oysters were pretty, are recommended. We also ordered calamari which was tasty but pieces were small. The apps also came about 5 minutes before th main course so our table was really crowded. I wish they timed this better.
The main course itself was delicious! Food was warm, and the spices are hotter than expected. We got medium and I enjoy spicy, and this was pretty spicy….almost too spicy for my family, so plan accordingly.
We had to ask for utensils to break the shells, which I had to walk around and ask when covered on sauce . Somewhat annoying but was promptly handled.
But the food was great and plentiful. We didn’t leave hungry. Don’t sleep in the corn!
Overall recommended. Service could have been a littl better for the price we paid but the food was delicious and fresh.

This is my second time coming here with my best friend. We LOVED it!!!! Our server was Alex, we had him our first visit and he was so so welcoming and explained everything to us. The food is amazing! Def recommend the garlic noodles with your boil and a lil drinky drink to wash everything down.
