Tonight we ended up at Dos Gordos Tacos and wow it was so amazing. Got to meet the owners and tell them myself how great everything was! Had the most wonderful experience, great service and incredible food. I got the street tacos plate and my partner got the nachos and both were delicious.
We are new to the Spokane area from New Mexico and have had trouble finding flavorful authentic food so I am grateful to have found this place. I can’t wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!
Plus the tres leches cake for dessert was well worth it to top everything off!

This place has been on our list for a while and it was absolutely worth the wait. The house margarita was flawless, the perfect blend of sweet, sour and smooth. The street tacos were packed full of flavor and the beans and rice? So ubiquitous, and so often bland, an afterthought rather than a chance to compliment the rest of the plate. Not here. Equally flavorful, the beans and rice were delicious. We had the extra guacamole with our chips and it was a revelation. The chefs kiss was the tamarind margarita. Where has this been all my life?? Cannot wait to come back!

Exceptional first-time experience here. My wife and I enjoyed amazing birria tacos and a flavorful, standout take on pollo à la crema. Bonus: My margarita was so good, and then the co-owner brought a sample of their new tamarind margarita that was even better — very unique and flavorful.

These strip mall Mexican food specialty eateries are pretty successful, especially when the food is a fresh and homemade. Then when you add the alcohol to it… A nice little gem in the community. Now I don’t drink so no benefit there, but the food is fresh and fantastic. Atmosphere is fine, but not a place you can sit in the back and let the world melt away over fine food and spirits (I guess everything melts away with enough tequila) so average for me. Still, if you want quality over quantity and you don’t mind paying more than average for it (let’s be honest they are better than fast food and honestly the price for fast food is through the roof, so I would say if you had the time, chose to get tacos here).

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Everything is super fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they put a lot of care into their dishes. On top of that, I had the best margarita of my life here and they can even make it to-go which is a game changer. Dos Gordos is easily my new favorite spot in North Spokane.

Menu has lots of variety and everything on menu seems to be their specialty. Staff is amazingly friendly and checks up on you regularly to make sure everything is okay. Julio Margaritas are a special treat. It’s easy to see why this place is always packed with people enjoying this experience.

Went in for the first time a couple of weekends back and was so pleased! By far the best Mexican food we’ve tasted in Spokane in our 10 years here. The coconut margaritas were to die for, and the mole enchiladas and fish tacos tasted super fresh and delicious! Julio took amazing care of us and made our visit so special. Can’t wait to go back to try more dishes from the menu!
