
Italy’s best 3 is a pizzeria owned from a family born and raised in Napoli ( Italy ) where pizza was born. We serve the community with some delicious food since 1992. Our delivery service is pretty fast , we cover all of Toms river , highland heights, pine lake park and beachwood. There is a big difference between the big chains and the indipendent pizzeria , you will taste the difference in our products. We proudly use only the finest ingredients and everything is made from scratch. Our motto is “THERE IS A REASON WHY THEY CALL US ITALY’S BEST”

Came in for dinner and enjoyed my meal.
First visit:
I called ahead and placed a phone order for fettuccine Alfredo. I was told the order would be ready, so I arrived about 25 minutes later. When I got there, the staff had no record of my order and didn’t seem to know what I was referring to. There was no apology or clear explanation — just confusion. I ended up wasting time and leaving frustrated.
Second visit:
I returned on another day hoping the first experience was just a one-off. I came in to order a couple slices of pizza. While standing at the counter, the employee was on the phone taking a catering order for approximately 15 minutes, with no acknowledgment of the customers waiting in line. There was no “I’ll be right with you,” no effort to pause or manage the counter while the call continued.
Once my order was finally taken, a woman who was standing behind me placed her order after mine — just a single slice of pizza. When the pizza came out of the oven, her slice was removed and served to her before mine, even though I ordered first. There was no explanation or acknowledgment of the situation, which made it feel dismissive and disorganized.
I understand kitchens get busy, but basic order flow and customer acknowledgment are essential. Being repeatedly overlooked, having orders lost, and watching later customers get served first makes it hard to justify returning.
There are many pizza places in the area, and unfortunately, based on multiple visits, this one needs significant improvement in customer service and order management.

Had to go through multiple calls with them about this issue and I also had trouble understanding one of the guys as well, but at least they tried to help.
Even though they offered to remake it multiple times and try again, I had enough because at this point i felt that the delivery driver would just mess up again and I did not want to wait another hour for the food. Was finally able to get my refund after going back and forth with the restaurant and the app.
