Stumbled on this place on upside and added it to YELP after coming up blank there. I started a deep dive while waiting for our food. Further searching showed it had closed, both on yelp and elsewhere. Yet, here is exactly where we ate & we ate well. The steaks were lightly seasoned and that allowed the flavor of the meat to shine, without overpowering it or taking away from it. Both were also perfectly cooked, with minimal gristle-y bits & fat. One of us went with white gravy & one with brown, both over mashed potatoes, as they were out of baked. While the salad bar is small, it’s well stocked – with pasta, potato, crab & green salad – an assortment of toppings, dressings & crackers. Both steaks came with choice of side, soup & salad bar.
Soup of the day was chicken noodle.
We opted for 2 cocktails (ceasar & pickle martini), water, no dessert. Seriously a good value at $75, with 20% back on upside.
I’d recommend it to friends passing through.
No idea what happened with the closure- if they closed and reopened or ended up staying open, but I can tell you we ate there the last day of June 2025 and we do not regret it!

Six of us came in for dinner and had the best service! The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating! All our drinks were made to perfection! The bartender made the Caesers with the just the right amount of heat, the kids loved the Shirley temples, and the coffee was nice and hot. Everything was cooked to perfection and had such a beautiful presentation! Yummy steak, huge cod filets, the best boneless chicken bites, the mushroom swiss burger was cooked perfectly with the toasted bun, and the salad bar was fabulous! So many great family friendly options! Thank you all very much! We will be back!

Had dinner there about three-weeks ago. The hamburger-steak tasted better than most place’s real steaks!
We had dinner one night and it was very good food for the price. Salad -bar is small but that is a good thing as it was all fresh.
We had two lunches there and the salad-bar is not open for lunch. No problem.
Service has always been great.

The bartender was awesome! We had 3 takeaway meals that she worked with us on because of some advertising discrepancies, I could tell she was sympathetic about the issue. The atmosphere looked fun and enticing though we just waited for our food as we had 2 children to feed waiting outside. 2/3 steaks were perfectly cooked, mine not so much as it was more on the medium to medium-well side than medium-rare. It tasted alright, just not as juicy. Would come here again if passing through.

we normally enjoy the food there however the staff needs some improving, common today I understand but hopefully the right eyes will see this and try to remedy the situation. The young server was not busy, she only had one other table besides us. She spent her Time hanging at bar visiting with who I assumed to be her boyfriend and after he left a couple of others girls. Our food was not hot when we got it I assume it sat in the back too long. My husbands medium rare steak was well done. I sent mine back to be reheated he told her he would eat his, she wasn’t too concerned. No drink refills, I had ice tea he had coke, never even offered. The very WORST SHE HAD A NOSE RING And KEPT PLAYING WITH NOSE and then serving my food! Seriously I wasn’t happy . Payed our bill and NO we did not leave her a tip. I hope she sees this and learns from it. If you are going to be a server be a good one and make some cash!’ Her tip would have been $6.00 from us alone
