I met up with a friend of mine for dinner at this restaurant (halfway between SF and my town) and we were glad that we found this place. It’s a very welcoming, nicely decorated restaurant with super friendly, kind and helpful staff. The food was very delicious, they have multiple vegan and vegetarian options. It was not too busy on a Wednesday afternoon, so we could chat in a quiet environment. We are definitely going to be back.
Parking is available in nearby lots or on the streets (free after 6pm).

Loved our food. Great atmosphere. Service was fantastic. The place was full, everything was still perfect and fast. Hope they keep up the good work. Rice was just cooked to perfection.

Yangon Burmese and Mandarin Cuisine in Burlingame offers solid, flavorful dishes at a very reasonable price point. The menu features a good variety of Burmese and Chinese options, and the portions are generous, making it a good value for anyone looking for a satisfying meal without spending too much.

The food is well-prepared, with standout items like the tea leaf salad, garlic noodles, and curry dishes that bring a lot of flavor without being overly heavy. It’s clear the kitchen puts care into their cooking, and the consistency across dishes is appreciated. While it’s not overly fancy or modern, the dining area is clean and comfortable.

Service is friendly and efficient. Staff members are attentive without being overbearing, and orders tend to come out in a timely manner. Whether dining in or taking food to go, the experience is smooth and pleasant.

Overall, Yangon is a reliable neighborhood spot that delivers good food for the money. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something flavorful, filling, and fairly priced in the Burlingame area.

Fantastically tasty food. I’ve Been there many times . The hot and sour soup is amazing! Hard to find a good one sometimes. Everything I’ve eaten there is prepared well and very flavorful. The owners are always there and are very friendly people providing great service.

$17.50 for tofu and rice (the orange sauce was tasty). And 17.50 for tofu and noodle entre. Very little creativity and no vegetables. Samusas were okay. You don’t get much sauce. Pretty cheap food with no flavor to end up with a $60 bill. Not worth the price at all. Service was okay and atmosphere is nothing exciting. Wouldn’t go again.

A myriad of flavours in the food we ordered – Samusa Soup and Burmese Chow Fun. The Samusa soup has falafel and samosa and fried potato – never before have I had this combination. It was really well put together, and the soup broth was really flavourful too. Coming to the noodles, again- great mix of flavours. Will definitely come here again. Decent enough vegetarian items on the menu. There’s plenty of street parking in the Burlingame area, so coming here should be easy.

A small and tidy eatery at the heart of Broadway. Parking can be a bit of a chore therefore.

The decor is on the more minimal side but does not detract from the mood.

The staff is friendly and took our orders timely. Lunch came out at a steady pace.

The food is good but could be better. The tea leaf salad was light on the greens, the flavor dominated by the fermented tea leaf and the fried garlic. More crunchy than crispy. Also had the curry with chicken, the meat was quite tender, the flavor good if not exceptional.

All in all a good place for a quick lunch.

I love this place and come here often. The rolling lettuce chicken cups and the tea leaves salad are fantastic. It’s to the point where the staff already know my order:).

I hadn’t been here in a while because it is not close to where I live. I was in the mood for Burmese so I went with a friend. As soon as I walked in I was reminded why this restaurant was so memorable.

The food is very tasty. The vegetable dish was packed with spices that enhanced the flavor of the veggies. The garlic noodles were perfectly cooked and also tasty. The ingredients were of good quality which really made the dishes pop.

The service was excellent! From the greeter to the servers and all other personnel all had smiles and willing to help in whatever way they could.

It was bustling with customers which is always a good sign. The floors and restrooms are kept clean. I could not find any garbage on the floors and they were all clean.

Overall, you have to come here to know what a great jem this restaurant is.

Service here was excellent. Very little wait time on a Saturday night for dinner. We enjoyed everything we ordered except the garlic noodles which were too salty
