Me and my girlfriend frequently visit this location, it is always clean and the food is always fresh! Nate was exceptional. The guys working last night 10/24/2025 are the best!! The 242 location is awesome because of these guys. Their care for customer service is above and beyond expectation, the food they make is always tasty, and the atmosphere they create is bar none! Fast, friendly, and always helpful. I find myself all over Houston and the surrounding areas but if I can choose where to be around eating time, this is the place to be!

Haven’t been to freebirds in awhile . They brought back ground beef its alright nothing like the original version.. they should consider putting in more effort to he more creative with their art in the store …maybe a chalk wall or connect 4 game for children . It was very quiet.

I enjoyed my experience here! I was coming in to get some food before I pulled another all nighter to study. Nate and Jacob are very nice employees. Nate im pretty sure was his name? He hooked me up with a nice sauce combo Jacob did fast service too.

This is not a place I usually go so I was pleasantly surprised that the food was so good. I had the birria beef and it was delicious and the chicken was hot off the grill. Both of the employees were courteous and friendly. Nate was especially helpful. We will definitely be returning as I’m already craving the birria.
