Howdy neighbors! I’m Rick and I’ve built a coffee trailer so I can serve fresh, specialty coffee and other beverages within my community. I’m at Bayport Flower Houses which is just about the best possible place to stroll around with a lavender cardamom latte, passionfruit shrub, or some other tasty beverage. Stop by and have a chat; I can figure out something to make you that will bring a smile to your face!

I came across Great South Bay Coffee while doing a Google search and I’m so glad I did! I made it in just before they closed ahead of the snowstorm and had such a great first experience. I chatted with who I believe was Rick, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming.
When I mentioned it was my first time, he generously let me sample the French hot chocolate — which was perfect for such a cold day (I ended up getting one for my girlfriend). He also had me try a few of the house-made syrups, and the green cardamom was the clear winner — absolutely delicious in my iced latte. We were even treated to complimentary Biscoff cookies, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Cute spot, friendly service, and great drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

Allow me to start off by saying what a great owner. I could sit there and talk to him for days. He is so knowledgeable about coffee and really made the whole experience painless and awesome.
His menu is extensive and honestly so much cheaper than Starbucks. He hand makes all of his own syrups it is just such high quality.
I was so excited to find this truck as I was driving down the road and happened to stumble upon it.
Everything was kept very neat and clean and you could tell that he was so caring about his coffee truck. I will definitely be back once I’m in the neighborhood again. I am so happy to have gone today.

recently moved into the bbp community and great south bay coffee has been the sweetest surprise. the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he’s poured so much thought, love, and education into his craft. he treats coffee like both an art and a science, and it really shows.
the quality is unreal. he makes all of his own syrups, which is so rare to find in this area, and you can taste the difference in every sip. it may be the best coffee i’ve ever had, and i’ve tried it all. my personal favorites are the biscoff and the banana lattes.

Amazing coffee and amazing service every single time. This is one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. If you truly enjoy good coffee, this is the place to go.
Rick is a true expert at what he does, and you can immediately tell how much care goes into every cup. He even roasts the beans himself, which takes the flavor and freshness to a whole new level. All the syrups are made from scratch by Rick as well, and it really shows in every drink.

Got 5 drinks (2 Americanos, 2 hot chocolates, 1 iced latte) everyone loved their drinks and the owner was super nice, friendly and even provided a sample of the homemade syrup for the latte. Will be coming back!

Found this coffee truck on a whim as I was passing through the area and i’m so glad i stopped! The matcha latte was the best ive ever had with fresh strawberry juice added to it that the owner squeezes himself. He was also so friendly and you can tell he takes pride in what he does. If you are nearby or even not this place is worth the trip!! I will certainly be back!

Great coffee, creative lattes, bold flavors, such a gem in the area. Owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and he makes his own syrups (and he has such unique ones! Personal favorites are the brown sugar and black cardamom, banana, and the newest edition, ube!) Have yet to have a bad drink there!

We visited for the first time today, and we very much enjoyed it. The espressos we ordered struck a great balance of boldness and fruitiness—potentially the best espresso we have had in the area. We also enjoyed speaking to the friendly owner. Definitely a place we will come back to again!
