Oh my gosh! This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. The rice is so fluffy and delicious. The carnitas tacos (only available on the weekends according to the menu) were perfection. The chicken and asada were great too, but nothing beats carnitas.
The service was excellent and absolutely loved this place. I’m sure we’ll be back very soon!

I called to order food ahead of time and drove 30 minutes to pick up. When I arrived the cashier told me she had no idea what I was talking about. They need better training in customer service. My order was not solved, the cashier treated me like I was crazy. I was wondering how in the world did she not know about my order when I called told her my name and she said order will be ready in 15 minutes. I got there and she said there was no order for me and they ran out of the food I wanted. I asked who did I speak to on the phone and she shrugged and said I don’t know and walked away from me. I was so close to going off on her but I just thanked her for help and left. She did not even care what I was saying to her because she kept on walking away. I have worked customer service that is not how you treat paying customers.

My husband and I are taco enthusiasts and frequent taquerias in Bangor, South Haven, the Sister Lakes area and a few on the east side of the state (and everywhere else in between). And while each place usually satisfies our cravings, Mariscos is by far one of the best we’ve been to in a while. Their food was delicious, fresh and had great portions. And their facilities were extremely clean (thank you!). And the service was prompt and kind. Hartford is a little out of the way for us but definitely worth the drive. We will be back.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant about a year ago. My son and I had menudo and it was so spicy, it was almost impossible to eat. It seemed as if they mixed spoiled menudo with fresh menudo and added so much hot peppers to camouflage it. I could literally taste some bad pieces. My son and I were sick for about a week after. And you guessed it, we haven’t been back since.

This was the best authentic Mexican food I have maybe ever had. I can’t believe I am saying this but man was it good. I had 2 tacos that they mistakenly put chorizo and AL pastor together on and it was fantastic! I also had some of their Ceviche and it was awesome! Nothing but superlatives for this place. Even the chips and salsa was the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere pretty low key, not fancy and the prices are low. Great authentic Mexican restaurant.

It’s small place but they’ve delicious food. Really really delicious a nice girl was serving to me. She was nice very helpful to me and she explained me which food I asked. Burrito large I choose and everything ohh my god it was delicious tasty. If you are passing near this town Hartford, Michigan. You have to go this place and taste it. It not expensive like Newyork. Be enjoy guys. Let me know how was food.

We came to visit because TikTok told us we should come try it and …. we love tacos! The tacos did not disappoint! They have the only tripa taco I have ever liked. We ordered variety of toppings, did not regret one thing. (Asada, chorizo, shrimp, carnitas, tripa, barbacoa, fish, asada burrito). Shrimp and fish tacos come in a home made tortilla. Service was super friendly and quick! A variety of Spanish music was played and we visited the little in-store market as we waited for our food. Let’s just say we are making garbanzos al vapor later tonight.
The 1hr drive was so worth it. Definitely visiting again!
