We loved this little hole in the wall bar around the corner from Government Center and up the hill from MGH. The food was great, the service was friendly, and the Guinness was cold. Went in for a beer and a snack late afternoon and lucked out on a great experience. We had the nachos and grilled lemon pepper wings and they were delicious. Real cheese and house salsa on the nachos. Meaty wings that were perfectly grilled and nicely seasoned.

Sat at the bar with friends while in town on a bright Friday afternoon and had a delightful time. The bartender was awesome, with excellent recommendations and great insights on where to go next. Neat vibes, plenty of space, and good company pushed the experience over the top. Would come back for sure for a drink.

Great food and drinks. The vibe here was really cool and chill. We stopped in after seeing a show at TD Gardens on a Saturday night and were able to find a table. We had so much fun and the bartenders were super fast and nice. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Boston.

First off, do not believe the picture from the website. It’s way dingier than that, which I actually like. I think my experience would have been totally different if the bartender wasn’t _such a jerk_. Everything we asked for (drinks, dinner) got the equivalent of an eye roll. No forks with the food, had to get up and ask–he gave us 1. The music was earsplitting super rude rap that was so bad it was laughable. We figured it must have been the bartender spinning his own tunes (keep your day job buddy). That said, the turkey burger was good enough, if you could get everything you wanted to consume it. (Hot sauce? You want hot sauce? Let me wait on these 3 other people first even though it is in a cabinet at my right knee and you came to the bar to collect it.) Luckily there was no “can I get you something else?”…
