I was needing something to keep me going while I was with my wife in the hospital that’s down the road. I came into this quiet little restaurant just needing some peace and good food! It did just want i wanted it to do. I wasn’t hungry but needed food so I got a small plate of grilled chicken and beans for some fixing on the side. It was great! Some of the best grilled chicken I’ve had in a while. I have told everyone I know that loves a good authentic Mexican food to go here! I uave been back a few times and now my wife is out of the hospital we are heading there today for lunch! The other is a burrito I got the next day that was amazing btw! He asked if I like burritos and this is what he brought out! Amazing place for amazing food!

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with Sergio’s. Everything was flavorful and delicious. We ordered the guacamole with the salsa and it was an amazing start to our dinner.
We ordered the shrimp and grits with the sausage and it was absolutely amazing. We also had the birria tacos which is one of my husbands favorite and he couldn’t stop raving! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants great food and service. Sergio’s is the place to go!

I ordered the poblano pepper. It is hard to find it cooked authentic at alot of Mexican restaurants, in an egg batter, with meat inside. It was amazing! If you haven’t tried this, you should!! I was asked if I wanted refried or charro beans. I had never had those so I didn’t chose them, but she gave them for me to sample when I showed up to pu my order. They were so good! Also, the guacamole is a must. I got that after reading all of the rave reviews. Definitely my go to place for Mexican, best around in the shoals!

The food was delicious! I had the shrimp ala Mexicana, chock full shrimp the flavor was mild with a nice after taste.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. Everything taste fresh and satifying! Will be visiting often, next meal will be shrimp and grits; heard it rich and full of flavor!

We all have that crave for Mexican food and trust me whenever you have , your end stop is here . I have tried almost all the Mexican places in the Shoals and THIS IS PURE AUTHENTIC ONE !! I am not even exaggerating !!! The food here is like you are on the STREETS OF MEXICO and getting the authentic taste . Its delicious !!!
