The more traditional side of Mexican cuisine than others that align to the TexMex style. I’ve known Sortero/Juan (manager/owner) for over 20 years, always my favorite weekly outing. They have a taco topping bar (to build your own) that is a bonus touch. My favorite is the Fish Taco (mahi mahi) when in season that is better than what I’ve had on the Gulf Coast! Nice laid back atmosphere for the casual diner and favorite for the Latin populace so you know it’s good.

1st time we went it was excellent! Was a little pricey but food and service was great and we couldn’t wait to go back. Well…. The second and Last time was a totally different experience. Our server was nice but she did not speak or understand English. We had a Margarita and chips and Salsa and Pico and decided to order our food to go. They charged us for the chips and salsa and a to go charge. We ordered the same thing we got the time before, Steak Tacos because they were so good. This time they were terrible, tough and not a good flavor nothing like the ones we got the prior time. We thought we had found our go to Mexican restaurant but I’m sad to say we did not. Very disappointed!!!
