Great little seafood shop with dining room. Kenny our server was a wonderful host and made great suggestions. The halibut special was buttery and light. Visiting from out of town but definitely would stop when in town again. They were also able to accommodate gluten free for me.

First let me say the waiter was so nice, he made the experience worth it, and thak you for the hot sauce recommendation. Now, all i have to say about this little Gim in Caldwell, you have to try it, perfect date spot, and BYOB, LQ right next door. The food eill speak for it self, am here twice a month.

Seafood Birthday Bash!
Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!
Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.
Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

We were celebrating our universary. I am a sucker for sea food, so when my husband asked what I would like to have – no doubt, sea food. As an appetizer, we had grilled octopus, bacon wrapped scallops, and oysters. Entrees – whole Branzino and crab cake. This was a great mix of flavors and quality. This place will be at the top of the list of my best sea food restaurants

My Wife and I came here for the first time to celebrate my Birthday. We will be returning to try more greatness from their menu. Everything was delicious. The service was spot on. The owner is great. Came here for the first time today with my mother. The New England Clam and The PEI Oysters and Mussels were as fresh as could be. Our server was Anthony who is also the owner and he was extremely nice and took great pride in his establishment! The place was extremely clean! Everything looked brand new but he’s been there for 5 years! The kitchen staff in the back were very nice when we were leaving and I could tell Anthony takes good care of his employees! Definitely going back!

Ive been living in cedar grove for five years and so mad i just found out about this place. Soooooo good. U know a seafood place will be good when they also sell the fish. Clams were amazing, oysters were meaty and delicious and the service was awesome. Thanks for an amazing lunch and will be back again and again

This review is for the fish I get to stock up at home, I’ve never eaten there yet. I’ve been getting fish here for a few years now and it’s by far my favorite place for fresh fish. Our family eats fish 2x a week, every month I go and stock up on wild caught salmon and steelhead trout and the quality is top shelf beautiful fish. Every once in a while I’ll get a couple of lump crab cakes and every New Years we get some seafood salad. The crew works hard to provide their customers with the freshest fish around. In the pictures the cut up one is the steelhead trout, the other is the salmon.
