Most fantastic place on the Vesuvius! Bottomless wine and antipasti that makes you dream of staying in Italy forever. Not to mention the incredible view and atmosphere. I went with some friends and one of them considering the location for her upcoming wedding that’s how much she liked it!

In a beautiful garden surrounded by trees and flowers, on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius we had an extraordinary lunch. Resting after touring Pompeii beneath a canopy of a walnut tree we were served fresh antipasti, wonderful pasta, very delicious desserts with excellent service. If you’re looking for a respite from the noise of the city this is a perfect place to take a midday break. You won’t be disappointed. We thank our guides Felicia and Vincenzo for finding this oasis in the noise of napoli.

Casa di Amelia is such a gorgeous little haven-a true labour of love. We were greeted with so much kindness by the staff and ate to our hearts content. I was there with 6 friends and we had the best time. The food was delicious. They had plenty of veggie options for those who didn’t eat meat. I’d highly reccomend this place, and looking forward to come back on my next visit to Italy!

We had an exceptional experience at La Casa di Amelia. The staff was extremely welcoming and amused by and willing to interpret our fractured Italian. The food was excellent—both traditional and innovative. And we found the ambiance very engaging .
I have no idea why there are any negative reviews. The place is not inexpensive, but it’s worth it for what you get.

honestly it was one of the best experiences in our lives… we work in Michelin stars restaurant all over the world… but this here is so simple and so pure, so authentic just as like the people who serve it and work there.
