Tried this place after seeing mixed reviews, and I’m glad I did. The food was authentic, flavorful, and freshly prepared—exactly how Indian food should be. Portions were generous, service was polite, and the flavors were not watered down to please everyone. If you enjoy real Indian cuisine, this restaurant is absolutely worth visiting.

Ok let me start with the food . It was really very tasty . But just make sure to tell how much hot you want . The service was good and I can understand because of uncertainty in customer demand and workers availability it’s difficult to maintain a very high quick service standards . Atmosphere was pretty nice . The owner was great , very cheerful and loves to talk . Remember that with any or most of the dishes you order you get a complimentary bowl of rice which makes the food overall quite filling .

If you crave for Indian food living in Smithers then you actually don’t have to. Just go to Tandoori Bistro Smithers, their food quality and quantity both are amazing at fair price. The staff is respectful and active. Special thanks to Himanshu and Gagan for always being so nice. Glad we have one good Indian Restaurant nearby.

The lamb vindaloo from here was quite good. The issue was the butter chicken didn’t have spices or a homemade sauce, it had tomato soup. Unmistakably tomato soup, the one you use to dip grilled cheese sandwiches. If we hadn’t gotten it to go I would have said something, if they had run out, they should have said so. Using tomato soup in the dish is criminal.

I had the butter chicken, vegetable pakora and Gulab jamun. Service was fast and with a smile. It looks spacious inside, lots of tables, and easy parking in front of the restaurant.

This is 100% authentic Indian food. The portions and quality of the food are reasonable. We have eaten here more than twenty times and tried several different dishes. Excellent!

The food was incredible! The service was good. Was seated in a timely manner, order was taken quickly, and food came out quickly. My only real complaint was how hot it was in the restaurant! But other than the heat the food was the best part!
