The service made the experience so much better. Every staff was welcoming, professional, and made sure we had a great time. Our server, Bryan, gave us great recommendations and made us feel genuinely taken care of.
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!
And the service? Absolutely top-notch. Our server, Bryan, and the other staffs went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish.
I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back!
Narkara feels elevated but still welcoming. The Thai Coconut Crab Pancakes were a standout starter — generous crab, beautifully plated, and well balanced. The Thai Fish Ceviche was bright and fresh without being overly sour.
Roasted seabass in banana leaf was my favorite main — super tender and flavorful, with a nice level of heat. The duck curry was also rich and aromatic, though on the spicier side.
Dessert (taro custard with black sticky rice ice cream) was surprisingly memorable — great texture and not overly sweet.
Service was polished (coat check included), and the space is perfect for a date night or drinks at the bar. Definitely a special-occasion spot.
The green papaya salad with noodles packed serious heat (a bit spicier than expected), but the crab was fresh and delicious. The Thai fish ceviche was a standout — bright citrus, pristine fish, and perfectly balanced seasoning — highly recommended. The spicy raw beef tartare delivered savory, balanced flavor, while the stuffed chicken wings were tasty though slightly dry. The true indulgence of the starters was the spicy minced duck and foie gras — moist, rich, flavorful, and absolutely decadent.
Entrées continued to impress. The roasted half chicken had crisp skin and great flavor. The seared Ibérico pork was juicy and deeply flavorful. The highlight of the night was the seared duck stir-fry curry — moist, bold, and luxuriously decadent — highly recommended. The short rib spicy herb soup was savory, spicy, and deeply satisfying.
Dessert was the perfect finish: poached banana with coconut ice cream was creamy and indulgent, while the taro custard with palm sugar ice cream was light with a lovely savory-sweet balance.
Huge thanks to our server for the unbelievably courteous and professional service that made the night feel seamless and special, and to our friend Tobi for the amazing recommendation, spot-on food and drink selections, and the thoughtful attentiveness that helped make the birthday celebration so wonderful. An incredible experience all around.
Great service, thoughtful pacing, and a warm atmosphere. I’d happily come back.
Narkara’s menu focuses on the flavors of Northern and Northeastern Thailand.
My two favorite dishes:
Roasted Seabass in Banana Leaf – Tender barramundi wrapped in banana leaf and grilled, infused with aromatic Thai spices.
NY Strip Steak – Cooked to a perfect medium-rare, crispy on the outside and tender inside.
My favorite food was the Thai ceviche, it was so bright and fresh. The Narkara platter with the sausages were awesome as well, super flavorful.
