WOW!!!!!My Wife learned of this gem from coworkers. Let me say you all have new customers. Catfish for me and Chicken Philly for her and we haven’t stopped saying how pleased we are. The Gentleman brought her order to the car with a complimentary piece of cake for what may have been a little bit longer but well worth it wait. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I tried the Taste of Northfield today. The greens and mac n cheese were very good. The portion size seemed small, but if the food was put in your standard white food tray versus the plastic containers, it would be more than enough. The polish boy was good too, just too many fries. If there was something that I did not like, I would say that it was the shrimp. They were just average frozen shrimp out of the freezer bag, deep fried and brought to the table… And for the price, that will be my first and last time with the shrimp. Otherwise, I enjoyed the food and the new Taste in Northfield.

I’ve been to Taste Of Northfield twice. Each time the catfish and greens looked delicious, but tasted extremely salty. Their wings were very good the first time I went, but the second time, they were just as salty as the catfish. You don’t have to over salt your food to give it flavor. I’d come back if they limit the heavy use of salt on their food.

Today we tried Taste of Northfield and it was great! The catfish dinner & 10 whole wings were fabulous, crispy, juicy & well seasoned! The mac n cheese was baked & not overly creamy but tasty! The greens we so flavorful… but watch out, I know they are cooked with turkey & my fork found a neck bone (thankfully) before my teeth did! Just give them a good stir to check! The polish boy tasted good but was not my favorite. Most of the bun fell apart & was just too soggy. We ate the components but wish someone would make a buildable polish boy where you assemble it when you eat it! That would make it so much better! We also loved the lemon pound cake (light & bright!!) with the peach cobbler a close second but again a bit soggy for me! I hope they get the banana pudding back! I would love to try that! I think this may become our go to catfish & wing place!! Nice job!!

Me, my wife, sister and brother in law were at a wedding reception and my wife was able to get one piece of fish and we all ended up sharing the one piece of fish and listen it was even amazing cold! So had to ask where the fish came from we ended up leaving the reception and heading straight to taste of Northfield and I bought $48 worth of food And so did my sister and brother-in-law lol it was just that good. Definitely coming to see you guys again!

Easy 5 stars! Tried for the first time today on our break during a remodel 5 minutes away – was absolutely blown away by the portion sizes and amazing taste. Ordered the smashburger and some mac and cheese, my worker also ordered the smashburger with banana pie and was equally impressed. Will for sure be back, thanks!

I’ve been here quite a few times and have yet to be disappointed.
Their wings are fantastic, the collard greens are great, and the catfish?! OH MY LORD! One of the best I’ve ever had.
The entire staff is friendly, and the service is always on point.
It’s absolutely worth it — highly, highly recommended!
