The gelato itself is nice: good quality, texture and flavor overall. Service is fine, nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. My main complaint is that they always seem to be out of pistachio. If it’s such a popular flavor, why not make more of it? Another suggestion would be to offer more authentic Italian flavors. How about making NOCCIOLA?! A lot of what’s on the menu leans toward American/St. Louis style twists rather than the classic flavors you’d expect at a true gelateria.

Loved the gelato place for of course the gelato but also because of the vibe. Although I took out my affogato however I want to return soon for chilling here. The staff were very caring and sweet. The affogato was pretty decent.

In the mood for a light tasteful dessert, then the family owned Gelato Di Riso is definitely for you! When you walk inside, you are immediately greeted with a warm atmosphere of the restaurant. The employees are very kind and nice! They inform you on all the flavors and allow you to try them all, until you pick your favorite one! The ingredients are selected from authentic businesses in Italy to ensure authentic flavors, color, and texture in each scoop of their gelato. I tried the lime gelato and found that it had a great kick of flavor and sourness. It tasted like I was actually eating a lime and it was delicious! Another one that we got was blood orange and just like the lime, it has an intense flavor, with a citrus taste. Both of them are very good and light, which doesn’t leave a heavy feeling in your stomach. To finish it all up, I tried an Italian cream soda, with vanilla. It was just as great as the gelato. With the carbonation and vanilla together, it makes for an all new experience that is delightful and delicious all together! For anyone who wants a great, light treat, then go to Gelato Di Riso!

Beautiul and spacious outdoor patio in the back. It overlooks the wonderful Piazza Imo park. Awesome gelato. Good variety of flavors, including some fruity ones and some chocolate and other traditional ones. The espresso one and pineapple flavors were excellent. Fast and friendly service. Love this traditional location on the hill.

At this point I’ve been here 3/4 times and I love the fruity flavors the best. I think raspberry is my favorite. They are so fresh and you can tell they are made with fresh fruit!
