America’s Best Wings in Richmond, VA is an absolute winner! The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and super-friendly service that made the whole visit a pleasure. I ordered the Philly steak sub (juicy, loaded with perfectly grilled meat, peppers, onions, and melted cheese), the chicken gyro (tender, well-seasoned meat wrapped with fresh veggies and that addictive white sauce), and a side of crispy golden onion rings that were hot and flawless. Everything came out fast, fresh, and delicious—best combo meal I’ve had in ages. 5 stars hands down!

This past weekend I went to this restaurant to get some catfish. I got the five-piece combo ($21.00). I got home and was amazed that it was still hot. I eat two pieces of fish. I stopped eating because I didn’t feel right, next things you know, I had food poisoning. I called the restaurant the next day. Cause of the illness and subjected that I bring the remainder of the meal to obtain any kind of refund. They refused to anything but being nasty.
So go to any other American’s Best besides this one . The is one on Brook Rd, Which is Great!! I have eaten there before . Thank You for your time. Don’t waste your money on W Broad St.

I was super excited to see this place since my other go to spot in the shopping center closed, so this one opened right on time for me.
My bf and I went here to try it out and had a stressful experience. As we were paying, the guy at the counter ran his card, he signed for it, and then for some reason he said it didn’t complete it, so he swiped again, then we thought let’s just try a different card, and that one went through. Heres where things went left. My bf bank showed he was charged twice. The guy behind the counter didn’t understand what we were saying so it got super frustrating. I asked for the manager, explained, and he assured us the card would only be charged once. We were super skeptical.. but 48 hrs later, the transaction was removed. I was very thankful.
As for the food, we ordered catfish with fries. The fish was ok, cooked perfectly, just needed more seasoning for me.
My main complaint was it just needed more flavor. It wasn’t bad, just needed more seasoning..and a lil hot sauce.
I plan to go back anyway and try something else. They’re new and hopefully this first experience was a fluke.

I’ve been ordering from this place because my daughter introduced me to it since she started going to the other location. Tonight, (my daughter’s birthday) my order was missing 5 pieces of wings with the combo. I called back to speak to someone. A man answered the phone, the owner. As I proceed to ask about my order kindly and respectfully, he starts to raise his voice. He was so loud that both of my daughter’s heard him yelling at their mother. Mind you that when the order was delivered, it was in one bag and it was closed and unopened. Then owner claimed that the driver, a Black man opened our bag and took our wings. We had our chicken over rice, chicken Alfredo and the chicken and steak wrap and fries and drink combo that the wings come with. They accused a Black man of stealing food and Black woman of lying. It was a simple mistake that could have been handled professionally, but it was not because the owners are obviously racist!!! Black people DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE OR STOP SPENDING IT!!! Do not shop where you’re not liked!!!

The place is very clean and the service is fast and friendly. The food however leaves a lot to be desired. The wings were bland and overcooked, the fries were stale as if old fries had been reheated in hot oil and the tea was rancid as is it had been made a week ago. A 5 piece wing combo costs $17 and it is not worth it

I walked in and was disgusted by the treatment of 2 separate customers so I walked out. This all happened in less than 5 minutes. The owner has his wife and small child behind the counter and she seems to be too scared to tell him about himself. I really wanted some wings and americas best is usually very consistent with their service and food but NOT today and NOT this location. He was rude to another customer picking up food, then tried to come help me. I noticed and spoke up and instead responding he answered the phone and proceeded to be rude with a customer over the phone. SOMEONE WHO IS THAT RUDE SHOULD NOT BE SERVING FOOD.

Instantly had a bad feeling when I walked in the door. The place just seemed seedy. “No free waters” i was told when asking for a water cup with my meal. Arent restaurants required to give water? First restaurant ive ever been told this. The vibe from the two guys behind the counter was strange enough already that i just paid for the cup. The food wasnt bad tasting, but afterwards 3 of the 4 of us had stomach issues almost immediately. I will never return here

Amazing experience. Excellent wings and desserts. The restaurant was busy and I could tell that the cashier was very overwhelmed, but overall the staff took the time to pack our bags nicely with all of the food, napkins, and forks. I would definitely be going back.
