Sat outside.. beautiful day. Not crowded . Nicely decorated and view of pond and forest. Saw 3 deer come close. My philly cheesesteak was very moist and full of flavor. Potato chips seemed homemade..but lacked flavor.

The food was delicious, had the Val burger, hanging bacon (bacon and bbq yum), blue gill fish basket. The bbq ribs are what they are known for, they were good too but I’m not a fan of sweet bbq and that’s what they got. Their Carolina gold was good though. Cher was super polite too. 6 adults, 3 kids was considered a Large Party so there will be additional 20% charge onto your check. There is no peppermint in their “Peppermint White Russian” and unfortunately charges for something you didn’t order cannot be removed from the check. Quite disappointing after it being highly rated and reviewed on Google!

The food is delicious and our server (Stephanie) was amazing! I would love to come back and dine here again if the boss (Jamie) no longer works at this restaurant. She was extremely rude to the servers on the floor in front of the customers and made us walk through a private wedding event to go use the restroom when we went to the “wrong” bathroom even though we are above 21. If she is this rude to servers in front of customers, imagine behind closed doors.

Place is very nice and remodeled only thing I’ll say is they need to clean dishes better. Had a party and all the plates/silverware weren’t polished. The catering food trays were very dirty and could use a good scrub. These were just observations I viewed. I know this isn’t Chicago so my standards are high but these are easily noticeable issues that should be checked more often. Food was ok but could’ve been better to be honest. If you’re gonna sell high end whiskeys and tequila, then keep high end standards.

Food is decent but not really worth the price. Our wings were served with rotten pieces of celery on the plate. Really? Why not just leave it off? My cocktail was outrageously priced at $16 for a tequila sunrise with Jose Cuervo. It was literally more expensive than any of our meals.

Sat for 40 mins in an empty restaurant with one cup of water to share as we waited for our 2 drinks (that never showed). The server never bothered to come back to tell us the dinner specials or apologize for the long wait. She seemed bothered we were even there!
We finally gave up after 45 mins.
