Dined in on 2/21, their second day! Food was great, service was friendly and attentive, prices reasonable. I got the fish, and my family got the braised short ribs and beef stir fry. Every entree had amazing flavor! Clean place decorated with beautiful pictures from Ecuador!

Went to the new restaurant in Cicero – Kurimanka. What a great dinner we had. Wonderful comfort food. The place has not officially opened yet. The staff were friendly and attentive. The waitperson described the dishes they were offering so we could make our choices as we had never had been to a restaurant like this. They brought us this delicious tea” on the house” to welcome us to their new venture. I am not normally a tea drinker but this was so good! It is not a big place but is cozy and has a nice atmosphere. Go to their page and check out the menu then just go there and eat! Your stomach will thank you.

A small, family run restaurant, clean and nicely decorated. Food is truly excellent and well presented, although portions could be a bit larger. We enjoyed the encebollado soup and the slow-cooked short ribs. The restaurant just opened and they don’t yet have a liquor license, but that was fine with us. Overall, a very enjoyable dinner. We will return.
