Pop’s Family BBQ is a dream come true for our family. We have truly been blessed. We have always enjoyed cooking for large family gatherings and church events. We decided to take our love of cooking to the public and formed Pop’s Family BBQ. Our goal is to serve you good food in a friendly, family atmosphere. We have a variety of sauces from which you can choose, as well as an assortment of homemade desserts. We hope that you will give our family a chance to serve your family.

Very nice family ran business. Didn’t really care much for the BBQ, the temperature of the food was not warm and had sat in the warmer too long. All of the sauces tasted mustard based which we didn’t care for either. Atmosphere was clean. Staff was attentive. Not enough parking.

Great food with large portions. Well worth the stop. The BBQ was well flavored. First time having the mash and rice. I was skeptical when I heard it, but it was amazing. My 8 year old loved it also. My daughter got the fried chicken and loved every bit of it.

We had been told that the food was great here, so we decided to try it out. We both ordered the smoked ribs dinner. Although the service was fantastic, the food was good but not great. The ribs were very dry and hard to eat. We both prefer ribs where the meat falls off of the bone. Very friendly atmosphere. We may return to try the chicken at a later date.

Food was great and the service was great, pulled pork sandwich was tender and juicy, the coleslaw was tasty, and the hash and rice had great flavor. Don’t usually take the time to actually leave a review on a restaurant but this place deserves it. Best bbq in barnwell, not to mention its family owned and operated! Can’t wait to stop by again
