I ordered the carnitas hamburger and it looked good when it arrived. However the hamburger was one of those frozen patties. It was dry and tasteless, the carnitas was tender and flavorful but the cilantro was very overpowering. The fries were kinda soggy and lukewarm. The meals my kids ordered looked and tasted good. Hamburger was good idea but execution lacked a lot to be desired.

The absolute best Mexican food ive had in years. So much flavor and great quality. Excellent service and spotless, large bathrooms. We traveled from pine bluff for it and we’ll be going here for mexican food from now on. I havent had anything in pb that even remotely compares to their flavors.

Stopped for a late lunch. The place was not very busy while we were here between the lunch and dinner periods.
I enjoyed my El King Burrito while the wife found her Steak Chimichanga to be pleasing.
The chips were fresh and the salsa had a pleasing level of spice was to it.

We visited after a football game 10/10/25. We had 7 people total on 2 separate tickets. The food was average at best. On 3 orders it wasn’t as requested. One of the orders was brought out 3 different times before it was right. The other 2 were just ate anyway without causing a fuss.
Upon paying our bills the party with a single mom taking her kids to eat was charged $12 gratuity and the other party of 3 $8 gratuity! I always tip when the service is as expected which it wasn’t. A $20 tip between 7 people is ridiculous. With the meals and the crazy gratuity charge the bills totaled almost $140!
I would have been livid had the service been exceptional and I had left a cash tip at the table. Do better Advacados you’re not entitled to a tip when it’s not deserved! Would definitely bypass this restaurant and try a different one next time in the area.

They have great specials, food is amazing. I’ve had some great service and some mediocre service. Atmosphere is usually loud. Overall, I’d rate it the top Mexican restaurant in Monticello.

Passing through I wasn’t expecting much but had a pleasant experience. Service was very attentive and fast. Beer is super cold and food portions were large. Food quality and preparation was pretty average though.

The food is always delicious here. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s very good. The service is ok. Sometimes they do not come back to check on you, but most of everyone is always great. I had the chicken stuffed avacado recently and it was delicious! My drinks are always made perfectly as well. Love this place!

Amazing food! Best salsa I have ever had and the guacamole was so fresh. Prices were a little higher than some but you pay for what you get! They even honored Mothers with a rose and 50% off their meal today!
