I came here feb 14th. This was my first and last time coming here. This place is super short staffed so be ready for a long wait. We didnt know this. We just kind of figured it out with how long everything took. We ordered drinks and food. The food took forever to come. When we finally got our food. I had a bowl. I think it supposed to be like a skillet. My potatoes was not cooked all the way. They was soaked in grease . The grease was just at the bottom of the bowl. Then I had pancakes. I think that was cooked on the same place as peppers because I had some in my pancakes. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes that is her fav thing. She didnt eat them all . Now my guy loved his burger and onion rings that was a five star but me and my daughter meal was a no. We was not checked on at all. Asked if we need a refill or if our meal was OK. Our check was brought to us. I didnt even ask for a Togo. I ate 3 bites of my bowl. I ate my pepper pancakes. I think my food was rushed because it was short staffed and they was trying to rush food out to everyone. Im patient. Ive waited an hour for bbq before. So I would have waited if someone would have came up and said so sorry we are short staffed its going to be a wait for your food. We didnt even get that. The staff was friendly they just wasn’t around much at all. I guess if you are a regular and they know you its different. You can tell some people visit here a lot because it was a guy helping that didnt even work at the restaurant. So staff friendliness I would give a 5 star. Staff service a 3 star only because we did at least get served. The clearness of the restaurant and 3 because they are short staff and not all tables could be cleaned right away. Wait time 1 because again short staff and the wait is long. Food 1 because it was rushed and not cooked all the way. Again only because they are short staffed. I feel like if they had a full staff it would have been a different story.

If I could give more stars I would! They go above and beyond on their food! I live closeby and I’m always ordering from the diner and the bar.Delicious, delicious worth every penny! And the girls that work there are great as well!!!

The owner treated us like old friends, had the Bills game on for us when we arrived, was warm and friendly, as were the other customers. Cute lil glee market also.

Really cool place in a very active mall-like atmosphere. Everyone was happy and having a good time, lots of surrounding businesses and a huge flee market right outside…which looks like a storage unit complex that was turned into individual little shops with a huge variety of items. Cool little places all over this mall!

Was in town visiting a friend and we went to the Kick Stand a couple of afternoons. The lady bartending, Kiki I believe, was a great gal, very enthusiastic and a bit entertaining! I would definitely go there again if I ever make it back to Granite City!!!
