We were intentionally going to L&L BBQ however saw Philly’s Best Cheesteaks Sandwiches and wanted to give them a try instead.
I’ll have to say that everything that we ordered was quite delicious and on point. I enjoy a good Philly Cheesteak samich and Philly’s Best delivers. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name (Asian male) however he was inviting, informative, friendly, and professional.
Me and the wifey will definitely be back for more items on the menu.
Restaurant was clean, organized, and superb service.
Also had the pizza fries & onion rings. Food was delicious.
Hubby went ahead and ordered his Philly, and I went with a burger and fries since I’m not a fan of Philly. It was actually not bad. Good tasting burger and fries. Hubby seemed to have enjoyed his sandwich as well.
What really grossed me out tho was the soda fountain. While getting a soda, I noticed how gross and disgusting it was. Not only just the drain but even the top of the fountain. It immediately was a turnoff, and I decided not to even get a soda. They need to do a better job at cleaning. Three people were working that day, two girls and a guy who looked like he was either the manager or owner. One could’ve walked around to clean the fountain and even the tables. Cleanliness is crucial for me, and for that, we will not be coming back. It makes me question their cleanliness for the rest of the restaurant.
Coming back from Philly on a business trip and searching for an Authentic Cheesesteak back home in LA. Jeez… I dont even know where to begin…. Service was quick and friendly, that’s about it.
The Amoroso Roll was fresh which was very surprising. The meat didnt have any seasoning, the onions were cut way too large and not grilled long enough. The Wiz… was… atrocious….
If you’re looking for an Authentic Cheesesteak save your time and money. Order from Jim’s Cheesesteaks in South Philly and pay for the shipping. It’s the best way to get the real deal!
