I was recently complaining that there was no good little coffee shop in Westminster, And then on a recent trip to get my car repaired I happen to notice The Vice on the map. There is a dunks up the road and I am no stranger to it, but sometimes you just want a nice custom brewed mocha and a muffin or real sandwich, and The Vice serves these and more up in a very charming, cozy environment that a national chain can’t give you. The staff here is friendly and I thought the prices were very reasonable, will be back soon.

The online ordering makes building your own sandwich so easy. We arrived before our pickup time and even though there was a bit of a crowd our sandwiches were all packed and ready to go. My sandwich was fantastic and I will be heading back! (FYI, the jumbo pretzels in the picture were ones I had at home).

The coffee is really good. I think it’s actually the best in the area. My only complaint was that I went in and ordered two sandwiches and didn’t realize they start sandwiches at 11. It was 10:58 which I get is not 11. Instead of just saying we can’t start sandwiches for a couple of minutes they instead had a conversation about it between themselves saying what time they start and how it was two minutes before. By the time the conversation ended it was 11. I get rules are in place but since I was the only customer in line it maybe would have been better to ask if I have been there before (as this was my first time and didn’t know the sandwich times). My family loves to support local so hopefully we have a better customer experience next time.

Although the dairy free option I had was quite good I am not a fan of the serving style…ice cream plopped in a bowl with a spoon and cone stuck in the top. This was not conducive for driving and had to set it down. I will try again when I have time to sit and enjoy rather than watching it melt on my way to do errands. I also overheard a little one say, “I wanted to hold it (the cone).” Sandwich was excellent.

We really been enjoying The Vice for our lunchtime break. Deli hours 11 am to 3 pm as clearly indicated on the online menu. I have fully enjoyed the “The Matty club” and “The Anthony”. My wife enjoys the, “The Paula” and “The Roy”. The staff is very friendly and the food is fresh and delicious.

I love the lovely cream, and the acai was also excellent. I definitely want to try again. My only complaint is that I wish they were more like 9-9:30 a.m., open to get that late morning office work done. Still, if you’re in the area and they’re open, go check it out!

Cute little place. Two friendly staff quickly served our ice cream. Both flavors were tasty. Just a heads up. They serve sandwiches but only until 3 p.m. I believe they said.
