The crispy duck curry tasted good, but the portion was very disappointing. For $23.50, the amount of duck was tiny—nowhere near enough to justify the price, especially for a “signature dish.” I’ve been to other restaurants where the crispy duck portions were much larger for about the same cost. Not worth it for the price.

I had the most incredible experience at Stanwood Thai, and I can’t stop thinking about it! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was absolutely stunning warm, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and so relaxing. It feels cozy with the fireplace inside the dining area. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re walking into a warm, cozy home, which my husband and I absolutely love.
Now let’s talk about the food… WOW. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. We ordered quite a bit of food to try, and everything was delicious. We started off with crab rangoons for an appetizer, and they were mouthwatering 🙂 For our main dishes, we ordered Pad See Ew, Panang curry, crispy chicken, and lastly, the most delicious Tom Kha soup I have ever had. You can truly taste the freshness and authenticity in every bite. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and beyond delicious. It’s the kind of food that makes you close your eyes, enjoy the moment, and feel like you’re in Thailand.
And I have to give a HUGE shoutout to our server, Emmy. She was absolutely amazing so kind, attentive, friendly, and professional. She made us feel so welcomed and taken care of the entire time. Her energy was so positive and genuine she truly elevated the whole dining experience. Emmy went above and beyond, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her guests.
Between the phenomenal service, the beautiful ambiance, and the unforgettable food, this place is a 10/10. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers on every level, Stanwood Thai is it. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

UPDATE: I’m not sure what happened, but this place went downhill. The food is not prepped the same or taste the same. The pad Thai was really fishy.

I ordered L5 2 star. There was zero stars and hardly any veggies. It’s supposed to come with jasmine rice but I didnt get any. I had to make my own rice at home, and add chili flakes just to have a flavor! My dish tastes like watered down peanut butter and I’m disgusted. This is not the first time I’ve had awful food from your establishment. I want you to know what a disappointment you are to the entire city of Stanwood when it comes to Thai food. You should take more pride in the food you create.
I need to stop coming here because they obviously cannot redeem themselves

Thai done right!!! Beautifully laid out, perfect spice. These crab Rangoon’s were legitimately the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve eaten a lot!) I got the lunch portion of chicken of Thai and it was still HUGE and came with gyoza already! I’m so happy I live close by. I see myself coming here and only here for Thai. The sweet lady (I assume owns the place) was so kind and thorough. Thank you!

So an update to this. Still no sign of a drinks license so seems odd that they still do not have it. Menu clearer but we were told specials then the person serving had no idea. This opened on the 10th of November 2018 so it is really quite new. When we went it did not have its liquor license yet and so could not serve beer which is why one star was removed. Another one star down is that the meals where delicious but they never offered any heat to the meals in the traditional star rating. There was also nothing on the table to add heat. I think for Thai you are typically wanting some levels of heat. Nice place and quick service.

S.O. and I have dined in an ordered take out many times. This is our favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The staff is always very friendly and inviting. Also, affordable. I love the Tofu Pad Thai and the veggie spring rolls. My S.O. really enjoys their curry with chiken and crab fried rice.

I love the food and the service was very friendly. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, homey feeling but the outside was in an old rundown, half closed shopping center. Not their fault and too bad really because I feel some people might not give it a chance, and it is totally worth it. I will go again when in the area. The Crab Rangoon was delicate and really flavorful. I had the combo appetizer and it was delicious! Other dishes were better than most Thai places we go to.

Not authentic thai having lived in Thailand for 8years. My daughter loves the prawn fried rice. I like the cashew chicken. My Thai wife orders 5 star spicy but does not.find the food spicy at all.
