This place has everything! Small outdoor seating area and they make nice use of their space indoors so that you can take a little time to regroup from a busy day if walking around Hoboken. Their breakfast creations look really good and they also boast a regular or cookie and cream banana pudding. Fast friendly service.

Lovely place for a quick breakfast after my jogs to the Hudson River. The egg sandwich was good. The serving for the Cafe Mocha is generous, I wouldn’t complain. The service is also top notch.
The service is marvelous and the portions are enormous.

Rosticeria Da Gigi is a great little café for quick, hot food. Service is fast and the portions are massive. It is a very unassuming place on the main street through Hoboken, but do not let that fool you, the food is excellent.
We have been before and would happily visit again. I had a cheese and ham panini which was generously filled and packed with meat. My partner ordered a beef and cheese toasted sandwich, and it was absolutely brimming with beautifully cooked beef.
Prices are very decent for the quality and portion size. A fantastic spot for a satisfying meal without any fuss.

Our favorite breakfast spot. My boyfriend & I always look forward to our morning gigis! From omelets to sandwiches, every time we eat here, we are never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Definitely recommend Gigis to everyone look for a yummy & quick bite 🙂

Order from here almost once a week. Everything is amazing. We love the chicken salad and sandwiches. I got a sandwich with breaded eggplant, mozz, sun dried tomatoes, and hot peppers and it was insanely good. Tied for my favorite sandwich in the area with Venti in JC. Def don’t understand the bad reviews. Will keep coming back!

I had not planned on visiting this little establishment, but I’m glad I did. I was in the area from out of state. Everyone was extremely friendly. I was trying to find a dessert or pastry and a hot drink on a cold, rainy Saturday. I was able to get a couple of recommendations from staff.
I’m planning to go back sometime and try some other menu items. I had the pumpkin pie latte, which was delicious and a couple of cannolis. They are always a favorite dessert whenever I visit an Italian restaurant or cafe! Hopefully, I can sit outside the next time I’m in the area and it’s a sunny day.

We went two weekends in a row both Saturday and Sunday to try several recommended items. I was very happy with our different selections of both breakfast and lunch items. We took a container of chicken salad home ( lives up to the hype, I really liked it) I wanted to be able to try other hot dishes at the actual place. You can’t order eggs to go and expect them to be perfect so you have eggs there and you won’t be disappointed. The croque madame was delicious as was the omelette Gigi. We tried a cheese burger and fries which were terrific! The fries were not soggy like some reviews implied but again, fries don’t travel well, eat in! The roll exceptionally fresh and burger temp was perfect. I also tried the turkey club on multi grain, tasted great but a little light on the turkey for me. We took home desserts ton enjoy later when we were not so full. I am going to be very honest about these… we bought 2 banana puddings based on what the reviews said. I was disappointed with the consistency. One container was perfectly creamy and delicious but one had almost no marscapone or cream. It was very dry and I didn’t enjoy it. The tiramisu we got was again very light on cream or marscapone. Tiramisu has to have a lot of cream the lady fingers were very dry not soaked. The cheescake was delicious. to be honest I would try each dessert again to see if it was a fluke on being so dry.As I mentioned one of the banana puddings was perfectly delicious. The server 3 out of 4 times was Ashley and she gets 5 stars from us for sure. Cheerful, sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. Food came quick and she was very attentive. Place is very small som it is not easy in dead of winter ton get table but we did each time. 10:30 has been the sweet spot for us. Overall we will keep going back and try a few more things or would reorder our favorites.

So glad we stopped into this place. It was very cozy, the portions were huge, the food was delicious, and the waitress serving us was incredibly sweet. It has a very homey, welcoming vibe. I could hear the tables next to us talking about how amazing their food was as well (and it did look amazing – someone ordered a fried chicken sandwich that must have been spectacular). Banana pudding was huge and yummy. Will definitely come again!

just wanted to give a shoutout to Gigi’s catering! shopped around locally for a large sandwich/salad to bring to a holiday party and Gigi’s prices were by FAR the best and the order/pickup process was super easy. both items were crowd pleasers! big thank you to the employees that helped me get a 3ft sub into my uber on a busy Sunday afternoon 🙂

Totally incompetent kitchen staff. I had to go back twice to ask for my order to be remade because items were missing, and even then they still failed to include everything requested. This happens every time. Check your order carefully before leaving the establishment.
