We had a party of eight and needed a place to eat on a Friday night. This place accommodated us, even though they were very busy. Really good food and the service was friendly and fast, esp considering how busy they were. A little loud, but it’s a bar and there was a Blues game on, so you kind of have to expect that. Our party had multiple different kinds of food, from some German dishes, to typical American faire, and all were happy with the quality. And the prices are very, very reasonable.

Tiny’s is a locally owned restaurant with a small bar space. Their new focus on dining and the newly remodeled dining space have truly elevated it from a small bar of years past.
The menu and decorations are focused on the German heritage of the Columbia, IL region. You’ll be surprised and your tastebuds will fall in love with the authentic German foods. Try their “soup flight” on Wednesdays. Highly recommend. The owner is really nice and was talking to several customers as well.

We really enjoyed the soup flight. Our waitress was so nice and very attentive. The bartender was knowledgeable about all the beers and picked the perfect one after I described my taste.

I can say the food was excellent, and not overpriced. I will look forward to coming back here every time I go back home through Columbia to play disc golf at Konarcik Park in Waterloo, one of the most fun disc golf courses I have ever played. I love this place, and it is going to be my new tradition. You rock!

Had the most excellent meal at Tiny’s. I ordered a fish sandwich and fries. The quality of food and preparation was superb. Wait time was to a minimum, serving staff went above and beyond with a smile on their face and happy to do so. Don even made an appearance to our table to check how our experience was going.
