Cookie’s is the type of place that makes you APPRECIATE food made with love. Reminds you of the good old days when families still gathered and no one was too busy everything was much slower. THE BEST BAKED chicken a restaurant could offer. I’ve visited here of different days and I’ve never been disappointed. You must try her apple pie!!!! I left #STUFFEDANDSATISFIED. I’ve got to try the oxtails next.

I walked in carrying my newborn in his car seat… Asked if I could take a buffet to go and the sweet little lady said yes. I’m an old but new mom again and I was just hungry for some good food! They helped me back out to my car with my food and were super accommodating! And the food hit every sweet spot in my soul ! I’ll definitely be back! If you haven’t been, your missing out!!

10 out of 10!! My experience here was absolutely amazing! The owner open the door for me when I first arrived. The restaurant and bathrooms were cleaned. I love the sweet tea! Fall off the bones baked chicken the greens were made perfect. The owner help me take the bags to the truck. I drove 2 hours from Houston and I plan on going back not just for the great food but for the hospitality.

The food was very good. The greens reminded me of my grandma greens. The oxtail were perfect. I had to remove myself before I ate too much. I will go back. The deserts were very good also.

Very good home cooking. Inflation has driven up the prices to $16 for all you can eat dine-in. Great old fashioned fried chicken like my grandmother used to make. Forgot to try the pork chops. Chicken and dumplings were very good. Good selection of deserts also. Friendly Staff.
