As someone that grew up in NJ and have loved Primo’s for a long time I hate to post this review but this has been a trend with this location with the last 3 orders. I ordered turkey diablo with instructions to put long hots on the side…they were put on the sandwich but more importantly no diablo spice was present and meat portion was very light. On the Soprano the meat portion was even worse (pics included for proof). Please improve order accuracy and portions…this making me not want to return based on recent trends

Very unwelcoming environment. No sense of urgency. Waited 30 minutes or more for 3 sandwiches. No one else was in the establishment. No line ahead of us. I’m assuming online orders took priority. Cashier was very lackluster. No smile. No attention to details. Told her twice that we were eating our food at the restaurant. It was to stay. We still ended up getting our stuff wrapped up and placed in plastic bags to go. I gave a tip because I thought the food would be brought to the table. I asked the cashier and she said theyd bring it to us. Not the case. So I gave a tip for what? Lackluster service with no smile and couldn’t follow simple requests. To make matters worse, my husband never been there before. So he asked about the sizes of the sandwiches. She asked him if he wanted half a sandwich or a full one. He said full because he figured it was a normal size hoagie. When I went to pay for our 3 sandwiches, it came up to $67! I couldn’t understand why but I paid for it. When we got our order, I got the 2 smaller sandwiches and then a huge sandwich the size of a baseball bat! Me and my husband were confused. That’s not what he asked for. The cashier wasn’t clear on explaining what she meant by a full sandwich vs half of one. If all this didn’t already have me irritated, I then went to eat my sandwich and it tasted like a bag of pure salt. I’ve had sandwiches from here in the past and they never tasted like this. The quality has gone down. Extremely disgusted by the service and food quality. To think that I gave a tip on top of the bill is crazy! Never again! We aren’t the type to complain but I’m pretty sure the staff heard my husband talking about the sandwich sizes and the mistake that was made because he went to the counter with our daughter and looking at the pictures and talking fairly loudly about how he didn’t know the sandwich was that big when the cashier asked him what size he wanted, all while staff walked by with no acknowledgement of him or my daughter. They simply avoided any interaction. This was one of my favorite places. Haven’t been here in over a year. Decided to go back today. Turns out, that was a $75 mistake.

Primo Hogies was absolutely delicious. The bread was soft and tasty. The service was outstanding. I added the sweet peppers and banana peppers which made the Big “T” the perfect combination. Hubs had the Philly cheese steak. It was cooked to perfection. It is a little pricy as they charge for everything individually. The Dill Chips ummm yummy. I would recommend and would eat there again.

Fantastic staff. Wonderful fresh ingredients. Unlike most places these hoagies were packed with meat. There are 3 different sizes, the largest being 22 inches! There is something for everyone here.

I got the Philly with cheese whiz. It was absolutely fantastic. The meat was sliced perfectly. It was juicy and flavorful. The bread was perfect. I will definitely be back even if it’s a 45 minute drive. Definitely worth it. It was Primo.

We tried this for the first time the other day and wow. My first bite was wow. It was sooo good. I don’t typically like just turkey and cheese, but since I had to get the kid one, might as well try it. I could have ate the entire sandwich, which he did and that says a lot! Tried the chicken parm, also delicious! Wish it had a little more sauce or a side to dip in, but still very good. The Philly was delicious too! Will definitely be back!!

First off the staff was great and very helpful. The sandwiches are very good, from the crusty but soft bread to the excellent quality of the cured meats! I got the primo size old Italian and just about swallowed it whole it was so good. If you blink you’ll miss it right off of main st but it’s worth a stop in for the crew and quality alone.

Having never been and placing our first order online, we almost bought the Whole size sub, thinking Primo size was half a sub . The Primo size was perfect to share! Not that I would’ve been mad with a whole, however big that must be, as the Philly was delicious!

Great little shop for fresh hoagies. Be patient as they make each hoagie fresh. Primo Hoagies is so much better than getting a sub from Subway. I ordered the Tuna Diablo with yellow peppers. The hoagie was very good and fresh. I’ve been here several times already and have always had a good experience. They have steak, chicken or veggie options available for you to choose from.

Today was my 2nd time at this restaurant, my 1st time was Wednesday of this week, the young ladies were super nice, I spent almost 40.00 just like today, I came in today a guy and young lady were working, he made one sandwich and she made one, I was stuck in traffic opened my sandwich it was just really wet, I turned around and came back explained and showed her the sandwich, the guy saw me coming and ran in the back and he was the one who took the order, she remade the hoagie, but never apologized and was being funny by asking me if I wanted to keep the old one, I told her no I don’t want to keep a soaking wet sandwich, the ladies on Wednesday were great, this combo today is why I would not recommend this place, the sandwich had no oil or vinegar on it, I’m still confused to know why it was so wet, like someone poured water on it, never again, and an apology would have been nice.
