2. Fries with no ketchup. What is this a new trend. If someone orders fries or tots you give them ketchup. You don’t need to put 50 packs in there but give them a couple packs of ketchup for God’s sakes if they don’t use it oh my gosh you lost a couple packets of ketchup but at least you don’t screw the guy that likes to catch up on his fries pretty much the majority of America I would assume
3. The lettuce on fish sandwich . Pic says it all.
4. If you order soup and ask for silverware they give you a packet with salt pepper a fork and a knife I guess you’re supposed to somehow melt the fork down using the salt and melt the knife into the melted Fork to create suction or just pick up the cup and dump it in your mouth but if you sell somebody soup it would be courteous to sell them a spoon to partake in the soup Adventure.
I mean the place is called dive bar what do you want Right.
Fish sandwich was tasty after I remove the nasty lettuce I will only be eating a few fries probably dipping them in my soup because I don’t have a spoon or ketchup.
And as far as the new girl she’ll get it I’m sure.
ON THE OTHER HAND… the menu is expansive! I was not prepared for the variety and interesting selections, and had trouble making a choice, so much looked good. A real dive bar has mayo and ham, but they have aioli and prosciutto. And it is GOOD food, and good drinks, too. The wait staff is attentive and not intrusive.
The batter-fried food features a light batter and great fry temperature so it is crispy and not at all oily. The sandwiches were great, good ingredients, the bread was perfect. I want to try more…
So don’t let the name scare you off, check this place out!
and the margarita specials the food was delicious the drink was perfect and I enjoyed hockey on one of the many screens showing different sporting events. If you’re a sports fan or just like good food and drink I would highly recommend the dive bar and grill in Regent Square
The portion was a little smaller than I expected. A total of 3 small tenders with probably a 6 ounce portion of pasta.
The beer was expensive $8.50 for a 16oz beer.
Not sure if I’d return or even recommend.
It was my first time ever having their food. Seen it on Uber eats and gave it a shot. Now I want to go in person and check out the rest of the menu. My burger and fresh cut fries were so good also ordered my kids grilled cheese, they were happy lol
