AMAZING time at the Longboard St John for lunch this past week! We came in with a large group right when it opened at 2pm and were sat at their largest table. We came last year as well when visiting St John and had such a fabulous experience we had to go back! This visit reminded us why we loved the Longboard. Delicious cocktails, amazing food, and friendly service! We had Korena as our server and she was the BEST! So friendly, patient, and personable. We started with the trio of dips, chicken / steak quesadillas, and then a mix of tacos! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to visit again and a must stop if you are visiting beautiful St John!

Second time here and it’s just as good as I remembered it. The selection here is fresh and delicious, with locally caught fish. They have a great cocktail menu and great service are bartender/sever Nate was great. However, the seats aren’t very comfortable and the restroom was a little dirty. Additionally, even though the food is delicious, the portions are small. I appreciate the fact that they have both bar and table sitting. Even though I wouldn’t rate this place a 5/5 still worth the stop, especially for happy hour, which ends early.

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat on a Thursday in November after hiking the Lindt trail.
We sat at a table near the bar. We had drinks and shared the ceviche. I picked the ceviche because I saw tostones included when I noticed the table next to us eating it. It was very good.
The atmosphere is laidback and casual. It was bright and free feeling. The prices were comparable with other places we had been on this trip.
Not sure on paring. It was an easy walk from the national park visitors center tho.

Our favorite place on the island! The freshness of the seafood and greens is exquisite. Perfect shareable plates, cocktails taste like paradise, and really amazing service. Korena is the best! We will be back for more 🙂

I dined in on Saturday night, December 20th. After about a 20 minute wait, my party of five was finally seated. Our waitress, Monica, was super chill yet attentive and honestly the highlight of the night.
Two of us ordered drinks. I had the frozen Painkiller which was really good, and my girlfriend had a pineapple drink that was also solid.
When it came to the food, that is where the experience started to go downhill. We came in starving and ordered chips and queso plus calamari as appetizers. Both were decent but nothing special and they took about 35 minutes to come out.
While waiting, I noticed that no one around us seemed to be eating cooked food, mostly just poke bowls. Our server explained that the kitchen had recently changed the menu and was backed up. After about an hour total, my food finally arrived. I ordered steak tacos and jerk chicken tacos.
Unfortunately, both were really bad. The steak tacos lacked seasoning, and the jerk chicken was far from jerk. It honestly tasted like boiled chicken. My girlfriend ordered a chicken quesadilla which was also disappointing. The chicken had zero seasoning and tasted like she was just eating cheese and tortillas.
The one bright spot food wise was my dad’s poke bowl which he enjoyed. And again, Monica was great throughout the night.
Overall, I probably will not be back except maybe for drinks. The food was a major letdown, especially with such long wait times, but Monica was super cool throughout.

This is my second time at the restaurant since my stay began and I must say Ray made my experience better than my first! Her customer service made me feel SO welcomed and her attentiveness just made me want to stay and patronize even longer than originally anticipated. She gave me the best menu suggestions and I was so pleased. I was debating on leaving the resort today and exploring the island but instead I’m hanging out at the restaurant for a few hours because of my amazing experience. I feel so relaxed!

The food and drinks were absolutely fantastic, but Luke and Nate were truly the highlight of the night. Luke set the tone right away with such a warm, welcoming vibe when we walked in and made sure to send us off just as kindly on our way out. Nate kept the experience going with attentive, fun service and great recommendations all night. Both of them brought just the right amount of charm and personality to make the evening feel special without missing a beat. Amazing cocktails and even better hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a overall good experience here. We sat at the bar. I can’t remember the names, but one drink I had was pretty good and the other one was not good at all. Our food was good. It has a really nice atmosphere. They do not take reservations at this location just FYI. We did get seated quickly though.
