Cool restaurant on top of a tall glacier moraine.
The food was great – daily specials on the chalk board keep things fresh. They were pretty busy when we visited, our soup and salad were on the table before the cocktails. When you leave take a left and take in some interesting scenery- complements of the glaciers- huge hills, deep lakes with a winding road through it all. The National Ice Age Trail is just North of the restaurant.

My wife and I had dinner here for Valentines day. It was very busy, and there was a wait, but it was well worth the wait. We had the prime rib, and I can say it’s the best, in all of northwestern WI. Our server was very good and attentive, and took great care of us. This is the best place in the area, by far, to enjoy a great dinner with great service. I would highly recommend it to everyone..

Absolutely loved our dinner! Was there a wait time? To be honest yes BUT, it wasn’t terrible and the service and food was well worth the wait. I definitely tell everyone how awesome this place is and haven’t had Prime Rib better anywhere else. All the staff are very pleasant, lots of smiles and even stopped to check on us while we waited. We didn’t have to wait even 5 minutes to be seated, definitely a plus. Value for what we paid was right on. We didn’t leave hungry but also didn’t waste anything either, serving size was perfect. I appreciate that as I never eat my to go stuff the atmosphere was fun and not somewhere you felt you had to “dress up” to go to. The food and service was like eating at a 10 star restaurant though ❤️ My only complaint (and it was VERY busy) is that it was rather loud making it hard to chit chat with anyone.

We have ate here several times. The food here is very good. Probably our favorite food in the area, and the reason we made reservations for New Year’s Eve. Tonight was not a great experience. You ran out of prime rib by 7:30, your waitress brought out the wrong drink, it was a full 45 minutes before we even received our salads. Table next to us that sat down 15 minutes after us practically finished their salads before we received ours.

They were very busy and short of help. Might have rated them higher if service would have been faster. The girls that were working did a great job of keeping it under control. Our dinner took 3 hours. The food was very good and tasty. The prime rib could have been a little thicker cut for the money third time there for prime rib! Not sure if I would order again. The bartender also did a great job helping out! 9-21-19 yep prime rib again and it was awesome just like you would expect. The service was great and the food was hot! Drinks were good. The homemade soup and salad bar is awesome. Upping it to 4 stars. 6-5-2020 stop by for a delicious fish fry on a Friday night and some adult beverages. Yum. 10 10 2020 the prime rib never disappoints. 2-25-22 fish & ribs were awesome . Staff was great as usual. 6-11-22 Here celebrating with friends. Food & service were great . Love the new deck.

They earned all 5 stars. First time going here and we were beyond impressed with the amazing service while they were swapped. Every food option was amazing. We even got 2 hoodies for 20 a piece.

This is an adorable restaurant on a hill in the pine trees. The area is beautiful. The staff is amazing. They are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday night and for breakfast on Sunday morning. We did dinner both nights and plan on breakfast there in the morning. I ordered the shrimp it came with a choice of soup or salad. I choose the salad. It was crisp and delicious served with a roll and butter. The shrimp was cooked perfect and tasted great. The sweet potato fries were the best I ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

1st Timers/Last Timers. Not sure how good the food was? Had a reservation at 7:00 for my wife and daughter. We were still sitting in a waiting room at 8:20. Needless to say we left. Went home and had a sandwich. Saved a lot of money!!

Food was great. Melody our server was on top of things and very attentive. We will be back. The outdoor dining was nice and peaceful. To find this good of food you normally would have to drive into the cities. It is nice to have a restraunt like this in the country.
