$6 for a side of fries that didn’t even fill their little box half way! What a rip off! Also we stood in line forever to be told they were out of everything we wanted! Not a weekend or holiday either! Pathetic! We even over heard them tell people in front of us they were out of other items as well! Come one ordering enough food to cover orders isn’t rocket science! This never happens at Chinookwinds when we go there! Never! And we have never felt ripped off ordering from their either….

This is a nice little option for fresh-assembled Mexican food, located in an out-of-the-way corner in Spirit Mountain Casino. We ordered the nachos –with seasoned beef, but there are MANY protein options — fully loaded for $10. We took it up to our room for a tasty and satisfying evening meal (we shared a platter for a PLENTY large “snack”). We’ll be getting this again the next time we’re at Spirit Mountain, for sure.

I asked for guacamole and sour cream to be on the side for my taco salad and they didn’t include it tried calling back but there’s no number for jalapenos. And when I did finally get a hold of somebody to complain all they could do was say that they were going to get a hold of their manager didn’t take down any information of mine to get back to me. Just take down what went wrong what the order number was and what time and that he’ll talk to a manager. So after getting home because people can’t do their job have to turn around and go back to try and resolve the issues with the food that they screwed up.

Unfortunately the hotel decided to replace their previous restaurant venue with jalapeños. Service was slow which I’m OK with in these given times. Food was poor. Lettuce was processed, cheese was processed, so sad to see the new food choices management has chosen.

Ordered the fish tacos… greasy frozen large fish stick, Eight black beans…no creama, as advertised. One smallest size corn tortilla. That’s it…You get two of these lousy things for $11.00 . If you want a side of beans it’s three bucks Xtra!!! For BEANS!!! This was so crappy, I thought it was a mistake…they do have extra red and green salsa, chopped onion and cilantro. Wow … NEVER going back.

Was a bit unsure about trying this new place (we really liked the variety of the old cafe) but it exceeded our expectations!
Portions are HUGE and it all tasted great.
There are quite a few options (from taco salad to fry bread) for the base as well as proteins.
They also have a well-stocked salsa bar with lots of extra (free) options.
The one issue we had was that the drinks were not free, like in the past. Since you CAN get free drinks (sodas, juce, etc) on the gaming floor (just outside the cafe), that seems silly.

Had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. The grilled cheese sandwich was not grilled, and the tomato soup was.. not tomato soup,… Was some sort of tomato sauce mix that goes with sloppy joes or something. Truly awful, I DO NOT recommend getting ANY food here!
