Service was great! Food was fair for its price. ample parking space. Great view in the parking lot, overlooking. Ambiance is a typical american diner where veterans hangout to read and get their coffee in the morning. They accept credit card. Table spacing is close but not tight for limited movement. Probably 30-40 people could max out the tables and chairs.

We just stop for breakfast, walked in sat down, then another couple lady’s walked in and got service as soon as the sat down and we were still waiting no one came over . Need- less to say they lost customers today due to the waitress.. sad to because the food there is amazing.

Homemade soups and quiche were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was not fancy but was clean and cozy. Hope we can make it back.

Great service. The food is great, the employees are very nice and greet you while you’re there or waiting. Atmosphere is top notch feels comfortable when you’re there. I eat there couple times a week for breakfast.

So as someone that travels for work and not usually pleasure I end up in some out of the way places ,Derby VT being one of them .Woke up hungry and found this road side gem.Cafe is a good discription , The waitress greets you with a smile and it’s always good when the tables are full of locals .
Service was outstanding , food cooked to order and the homemade bread toasts up perfect .
Nearly never wrote a review because at 8:30 and there is only one table left and I want a seat the next time I’m this way .
If your near here you should stop and experince rural VT hospitality !
