American deli no! your wings taste delicious. Your service was good but the size of those wings leave much to improve upon. I am an average size guy and your wings are no bigger than my pinky finger and I paid $40 for 30. Please do better.

I have noticed the wing sauce has a different taste. At first I thought it may have been fluke,but having the wings again today there is a different taste.
The taste of the sauce was a draw for me because the wings are really small,but I over looked that. Now that they’re the same as most all wings shops, I’ll go somewhere else because I will be getting bigger for my money. BTW I know you can order larger wings because my neighbor has a wing shop.

We were torn between C&C Wings, which is right next door, and American Deli. I hadn’t been to either of them before. Eventually, I decided to come here because I heard it’s a popular spot in Atlanta. Wrong decision. Unfortunately, everything was tasteless and lacked seasoning. The wings seemed unseasoned, coated in plain flour, and then fried. The rice was equally bland. VERY PLAIN. The only highlight was the refreshing lemonade. However, the restaurant was very clean and neatly organized.

Walked in today at 1:45 pm to put in my order. The dark haired spanish girl at the register did not speak once but continued to make drinks and answer the phone. I politely walked out and will not be giving this business any patronage. I loved this location and it was such a disappointment with the rude customer service. I think there should be some better training for their workers. In a business dealing with people you should always greet your customers. If you are busy you should say Hi, I will be with you in one moment.

I ordered wings and fries combos for a late dinner. My order was done pretty quick which I was surprised but didn’t think any thing was wrong as I have ordered here before but as soon as I got home to eat I noticed the food was cold. Unappetizing to say the least. Please check your food before leaving. I know food is made fresh so not sure if they gave me food just sitting there because I only live 10 minutes from the restaurant and there is no way it should have been cold. I don’t know how I feel about going back.

I really wish all American Deli’s were created equal. The last two times I’ve gone, I ordered the chicken philly with lettuce (I love the chicken philly in Grayson). The presentation with this compared to the one in Grayson were completely different. They should really just get a bag of shredded lettuce to avoid giving the hard pieces. There were a lot of chicken on my sandwiches, but both times, the chicken had the same bland taste. The fries were overcooked both times as well. My husband didn’t have any complaints on his philly and he loves the lemonade. The staff isn’t really pleasant but it is a bunch of kids, so I’ve gotten use to being treated as I’m inconveniencing them when I’m ordering food where they work. Tables were a little sticky and it does get packed in there while you wait for your food so there is a constant game of musical chairs as people move around because unless you are in there you won’t know when they call your number.

Lately I been back on my American deli kick. I started out at the one on Salem Road which was absolutely delicious BTW. I was closer to the one in Conyers so I figured I’d go to the one on Dogwood. I ordered the same thing chicken Philly and Wings. I was on the go. I really didn’t pay much attention to it while I was in there, but I cannot begin driving. I noticed everybody was full of nothing but mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. I tried so hard to taste the Chicken. I was very unhappy, but given the fact, I love vegetables I just let it slide. So be careful eating there in about 3:15 PM on a Sunday. My wings were also cold.

The food at American Deli is reliably tasty and portioned well. However, they could improve on the cleanliness of the dining area, which is why I prefer to take my food to go. That said, the quality of the food is consistently good, and it’s prepared quickly.

Worst gyro I’ve ever had. Meat is hard, drenched in cold sauce and cold lettuce as tomato. I asked for crispy wings and I could barely chew them. The fries were good, though.
