Today I went to this location and asked about the Bahama Mama being gluten free. The lady said oh no it’s not gluten free. I then asked what had gluten that was inside the smoothie because I’d just get it without that ingredient. She said I don’t know because I don’t make the smoothies. According to their online allergy menu most of their smoothies are naturally gluten free. I then asked okay, what smoothies do you have that are gluten free and she said none one them. I said none of them are? She said no and showed no interest in trying to actually help me. There clearly needs to be some better training on allergies among the staff here.

Believe me I didn’t want to have to do this but… today makes the 2nd time I’ve had my order done wrong. I requested a Bahama Mama bowl with NO coconut chips. Got down the road & checked my bag just to see it was a totally different bowl than what i asked for. No biggie, I went back & it was remade .. still wrong! He added coconut chips even after clearly seeing my receipt & reading over it as he prepared the bowl..I just dealt with it because I’m already running behind for work. Let’s not forget to mention no one EVER greets upon entry. A simple “welcome in!” would do.. it makes ALL the difference. Trust me. I’ve been visiting this location for a long time because it’s closer to my home but I do believe today was my last day visiting this location.

I don’t usually write reviews for chain restaurants because I think we all usually know what to expect but I have come to really appreciate this little place, and I think it may often be overlooked.
It’s tucked away on Firetower just off of Memorial Drive, where all of the other fast food options are located.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe is the only fast option I visit with any regularity.
The smoothies are perfect for a quick light breakfast, and you can augment them with a wrap, flatbread sandwich, or salad.
I find that if I pick up a Smoothie for breakfast and a salad at the same time, I’m covered for the entire work day. Perfect for those days that I don’t have time to make lunch or slip out for a quick bite. Plus, the food is fresh and on the healthier side.
And they are open early! I can pick everything up and still be at my desk by 7:30 a.m.

Can barely drink my chia banana boost through the straw and even then keep getting chunks of banana and ice chips. Wasn’t blended right feels like a waste of money. Waited half an hour for my whole order (ordered peanut paradise) just to be disappointed. In the picture this was after waiting about 40 minutes total to get to that point. Won’t come back.

My first time eating here. Ordered over the app and picked up in the drive thru. I loved how many options there were. I had a tough time deciding what to try first (Caribbean Jerk wrap ). Very flavorful. Also had the green detox smoothie. So good.

I never have a problem with this tropical smoothie location, but the service I received today wasn’t thoughtful. Firstly, when I walked into the restaurant, no one greeted me. Secondly, when I approached the register, the cashier didn’t ask me if I had a rewards app and automatically assumed I wanted my order to-go. I was trying to get the deal for a free smoothie. Thirdly, it felt like she was rushing me to finish ordering. Once I got my order, the detox smoothie I ordered didn’t taste right and I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich( which was cold in some areas.) a few minutes later, I went back inside so I can get a refund on the smoothie as it was supposed to be a free one. Again- no one acknowledged me or said anything to me. I ask for the manager and a young Hispanic lady approaches me. I explain that I was trying to get the free smoothie offer, and she states that I can’t because I already ordered my smoothie. I told her either way I should still get a refund due to the smoothie not tasting right. I ended up leaving the establishment and going to another TSC to receive my free smoothie.
