Our mission is simple; to provide affordable good Japanese food for everyone. We use the same quality fresh ingredients as you would find at the best Japanese steakhouse. Our sushi burritos, poke bowls and over-sized sushi rolls showing off the contemporary trends, the traditional nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls and hibachi are our specialties. Although we do mostly carry-outs, our 20 seats dining area makes it great for eating in as well. Whether you are planning a family party or office luncheon, you may also find our plater menu that would fit right within your budget. The best way to place an order is via our online ordering platform. Call ahead and walk-in are welcomed. Whichever way you’ve chose, we are now making your food with passion!

Super satisfied with the Steak and shirmp hibachi. Good size portion delivering great value for the price. Veggies,steak,shrimp and rice cooked perfectly and my order was ready to take home pretty quick. I will be back to try more on thier extensive menu.

I really love Yama Japan, being a UT student they are super convenient to get to and ordering online is really simple! I also get the steak hibachi because the steak is super good cooked very nice! Today I got it and asked for spicy sauce and add a bit extra and they delivered (see pictures!). My girlfriend loves their poke bowls and we also got spicy white tuna sushi which was delicious. I honestly couldn’t recommend Yama more if you’re looking for really great yet simple Japanese sushi, poke, or even habachi to go!

… Found another Toledo …. So when I think about hibachi, I would of never thought take out. But let me tell you,Yama Japan Express was a hidden & now has been found!
The food was actually really good to be hibachi on the go. Service was great, fast and affordable.
If you haven’t tried it, definitely stop in next time your in the mood for hibachi but don’t have time to get all the way to Nagoyas.

The tempura was hot, fresh, and tasty. the Yama’s Green Roll was unique and very succulent. The spring rolls were crisp and hot but the filling was a bit mushy. We would have liked more crunch inside. But others are likely to enjoy the textures as they are. All in all, a good place for Japanese takeout.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Food was delicious. Meat was tender. Sweet potato sushi with soy wrap was excellent. The shrimp, steak, chicken dish seemed to have less meat compared to getting just chicken.
