Stopped by this place because another foodie told us we can’t miss their duck noodle soup so we HAD to try it. I would’ve never expected a full dine in restaurant at a boba shop but there it was. Sometimes when people tell you something tastes great, you set your expectation high and the actual food can be disappointing because it’s not as good as it’s hyped to be and how you’ve elevated it in your mind. Well, I have to say that it did not disappoint! We were seated promptly but for some reason, they helped another table who arrived after us for some reason. Not a big deal though since there weren’t many people and it was a leisurely weekend for us.
We ordered the shredded roast duck noodles soup. The broth was very flavorful but light with its clear broth. They used the vermicelli bean thread noodles and so my husband just thought the texture was off. I ordered the Roasted Duck Confit with Large noodles and mustard greens. The duck came out in a separate dish than the soup. The broth was light and tasted heavenly. I added some chili oil available at the table and the slight kick added another dimension to this delicious dish. What was utterly amazing about the dish was the duck. The skin was nice and crispy and even though I dunked the duck into the broth, I could tell it had been marinated because the flavor was infused deep into the meat, so much so that I could still taste the flavors after the dunking. I don’t think I’ve had duck this good before.
We also ordered the Hainanese chicken and beef chow fun. Both were good and standard fare that would satisfy any cravings, if you had an inkling for it. The pork ears were also pretty good too but it does have a brief numbing sensation to the tongue even though we ordered it as mild, I’m assuming from Sichuan peppercorns? But what a gem of a place that is almost down the street from us! We’ll be back for that roasted duck!!
The service was good but not excellent. We had to ask for our drinks but it never came out, even after the food started coming out. We asked and it came out shortly after that; the waitress was apologetic for forgetting. I deducted one star because no one came back to check to see if we needed refills or if we needed anything else after the food was served. But if you caught their attention, they’d get whatever you wanted promptly. Overall, the service was still pretty good all things considered. The waitress was was waiting the tables in the dining area and also helping people who came in just for drinks.

Headline: A Hidden Gem down Freeport Blvd!
Location: Tucked into a strip mall off Freeport, parking is a bit limited, though we still found plenty of space. The place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside buyt once you step inside you find a cozy warm interior with modern decor. Inside you are greeted to the roasted ducks with a window into the kitchen. This place definetly passes the vibe check.
Food: The food is the star. The crispy pork was absolute chef’s kiss
Portions are large enough that the rice plate with 2 entrees can serve two!
Service: The service staff was excellent. Our server greeted us quickly and had us seated right away. Quick drink and food orders and they had the food out lightning fast. Overall the service was friendly, quick and efficent, I really couldn’t ask for more.
Conclusion
Tealicious might look unassumingfrom the street, but once you are inside you are treated to a great location with great food and service. Defintely worth a visit if you are driving down freeport!

Ordered a $17.99 half portion hand pulled chicken and a dual meat bbq with rice, the bbq with rice took over 30min still did not deliver, the waitress asked me if I want water or tea, I said water, we waited for over 30min, no food and no water. The hand pulled chicken took 45 min to come and look at the portion? is that half a chicken? I asked the waitress, and the waitress said yes!Are you serious? where the thigh part and drumstick meat!
is a rip off to come to this restaurant!

Always one of my go to spots! Especially for the traditional Hainanese chicken and rice. It’s literally the best in all Sacramento! The inside of the restaurant is cute and cozy. Staff are nice. Even other plates/ramen are made to perfection.

Tealicious on Freeport Blvd is one of the best Chinese BBQs with drinks and other yummy dishes. The Roasted Duck and Soy Sauce Chicken are my favorite. The other Chinese dishes are very delicious too. The service at Tealicious is fast, and the workers are polite even though they are usually super busy.

Tealiciouse has the roast Ducks and the customer service is amazing. Foods and drinks are delicious. You can adjust your sugar levels of drink and the foods are not salty. It was worth the 45 minutes drive to get great foods and drink. One stop shop. Thank you for the fast and beyond great customer service each time I visited Tealicious.

My coworkers and I ate here because the place a couple doors down was closing. The parking lot is terrible during busy hours from all the different businesses surrounding. When we walked in there was a good amount of people dining in and the first thing I noticed is the amount of food leftover on their plates or on tables waiting to be bussed. We waited for about 10 minutes until someone decided to take our order. The lady got our drink orders wrong and had much attitude when we asked for the correct drink. The food comes out very quickly which was great. The food has great flavor and is verrrrrry salty which took away from enjoying the flavor. The “crispy tofu” was soggy and very oily. The milk teas did not taste like your average milk tea and I can’t even think how to describe the taste. This place was very disappointing and to make things worse, we began to watch sanitary practices and the same lady that took our order was cleaning tables. She did not once change her gloves in between taking orders, serving food, or bussing tables. So the dirty dishes she was touching to the dirty towel she was using to wipe the tables then proceeding to touch the inside of the to go boxes she was grabbing was concerning. We arrived a little less than 2 hours before closing which meant there was no more boba. There’s no egg pudding either, which is a double whammy. My original milk tea wasn’t smooth as expected and tasted nothing like milk tea.

Authentic Cantonese food and affordable price. The food is made to order so it tastes fresh. I especially like the wonton. You can find an entire shrimp inside. The BBQ items are very good as well but if you go too late, their most popular items would be sold out. The drinks are great as well. The only minor comment I have is that the smoothie and lemon tea are a bit too sweet. I forgot to ask if you could adjust the sugar level.
