Amazing Atmosphere, Hygenic Place.
The service is amazing as well.
Dishes are over priced but delicious. Potion sizes are good.
1. Pollo Arabiata Pizza – Super tasty pizza, Loved it. Fresh cherry tomato add little kick in taste.
2. Kids Chicken Fingers – Taste was amazing, potion soze was too small. Certainly not a dish worth 700 bucks.
Service is top notch.
Mandatory 10% addition of tip in bill is something I did not like. Guests should decide whether to tip or not & how much to tip. Adding flat 10% in bill is not required. If they want to charge it in bill it should be declared in their Menu.
The biggest highlight is, without a doubt, the stunning view of the Arabian Sea. If you’re lucky enough to get a window-side seat, the experience becomes even more special—watching the waves while enjoying your meal is pure Mumbai magic. Whether it’s breakfast with the morning breeze, an evening meal with city lights, or a monsoon visit with rain and waves in the backdrop, the atmosphere here is always captivating.
The food quality is consistently good and flavorful. Their pizzas are perfectly baked with rich toppings and bold flavors, making them one of the best pizza spots in the city. Pasta, garlic bread, sandwiches, and breakfast options are equally satisfying. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are well prepared, and the menu offers enough variety to suit different tastes, though a few items may feel premium-priced for the portions. Desserts and beverages like hot chocolate also stand out.
The ambience deserves special mention—antique-style décor, warm lighting, and a classy yet relaxed crowd give the place a timeless charm. It’s suitable for everything from solo visits and casual meet-ups to professional meetings and weekend outings. The place does get quite crowded, especially during peak hours and weekends, and waiting times can be long, but the experience is worth the patience.
Service is efficient and friendly, with staff guiding you well through the menu and attending promptly despite the crowd. While the lively atmosphere can make it a bit noisy, it adds to the overall energy of the place rather than taking away from it.
Overall, Pizza By The Bay is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food paired with a spectacular sea view. Slightly on the expensive side and often crowded, but the location, vibe, and quality make it a memorable 5-star experience. Perfect for creating beautiful Mumbai memories.
The food was great. The garlic bread was extremely cheesy and yum. The pizza we ordered was thinking slice and it was great as well. The Hoegaarden on tap beer was excellent as well. The only downside is that the pizzas were extremely pricey. I guess it is the price you pay for having dinner with the lovely views of the Marine Drive. Aside from the price, I think it is a great place to have dinner.
I tried their **half-and-half veg pizza**, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The base was thin, crisp, and baked just right – not chewy or soggy. On one half, I went for the **classic veg toppings** (tomatoes, capsicum, onions, and olives), which had a fresh and vibrant flavor. The other half was **loaded with gourmet toppings**, with a rich cheesy layer, mushrooms, and bell peppers that gave a nice savory balance.
What stood out was the **quality of the cheese** – creamy, stretchy, and not too oily – and the **balance of spices and herbs**, which kept it flavorful without overpowering the freshness of the vegetables. Portion size is good enough to share if you’re not a heavy eater.
The **ambience** is calm and elegant with the sea breeze adding charm. Service was decent and staff courteous, though the place can get busy, especially in the evenings. Pricing is slightly on the higher side, but the taste, quality, and overall experience justify it.
✅ **Highlights**:
* Great sea-facing view
* Perfectly baked thin crust
* Fresh veggies & quality cheese
* Half-and-half option gives a variety in one pizza
⚠️ **Minor Cons**:
* Slightly pricey
* Gets crowded during peak hours
