I just had the most pleasurable experience at this Surcheros. Now I have gone to many Surcheros in my life as it is one of my favorite places to eat, and this one surpassed all of them. I think one of the major contributors to this is Damien the team leader he does an amazing job at making sure everything’s running smoothly. The food is fresh and man can. I say it was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back.

While the food was delicious and definitely fresh, I ran into a few issues. I ordered the weekly special, which today was chicken tacos. It comes with chips and salsa. You get to pick what you want to have fresh and what you want to have grilled. I ordered online. They added items I did not order like rice on the tacos. I ordered 2 sauces on the side and asked if it was in there, and they said it was, but one wasn’t. The sauce that was in there was not either of the two types I asked for. Also, the pickup time online is when I showed up, and they were just then cooking the chicken. The wait was not long, but I have a child with special needs, and waiting can turn into a disastrous event, which is why I order ahead.
Overall, the food was good. I was super excited about this place when I walked in, but will I be back? Not likely. The food was extremely tasty, though. I may give them another try.

The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly. So much, that I wanted to tip them well. The tip container looks like some of those donation boxes so I asked if that was the tip jar. I was told yes but the tips don’t go to the staff. I didn’t ask any other questions because I surely did not want to cause any problems for anyone. I see the owners respond to reviews so I would like to know who gets the tips. My friend has already been back once and I would like to go back again. I’m looking forward to the response and hope to return so I can do a five-star review!

The scenery feels and looks like chipotle but of course the tables are dirty because the staff is lazy and rude. They won’t greet you, the short feminine African American man at the front was rude and gave 1 SMALL scoop of chicken rice and beans. My bowl was most made of vegetables. Then at the end the manager was rude and dropped my cup on the counter instead of handing it to me and after all this they had the nerve to charge $30 for that small portion of food. And no water cup too?? Like dang $30 and NO water cup?? I see why the restaurant is like that, management is clearly terrible. Don’t eat here BYE.

(Long Review but worth it)
I order two Giant chicken quesadillas one with extra chicken and one on a jalapeno wrap and a large queso with chips (since the small or medium queso doesn’t come with chips on the door dash app. Red flag number 1 ) the order came up to $58.48 with a $8 tip included. The order arrived earlier than expected and door dasher was nice great service on their end. However the service and food quality with this restaurant is beyond poor. My entire order was made incorrectly.The jalapeno quesadilla wasn’t jalapening the quesadilla was made with a regular flour tortilla instead .The extra chicken on the other quesadilla wasn’t on there . And the “large” chips and queso wasn’t in the bag either ♀️. I called the restaurant TWICE to try to speak to someone but nobody answered so I was forced to go to the restaurant. I asked to speak to a manager and requested my food be remade probably the manager who was very nice gave me a free drink and apologized for the inconvenience and had them remake my food. I didn’t catch his name but he was a bald Caucasian guy with a nice smile and easy on the eyes . My food was made and I was on my way back home. When I got home to eat my food I quickly noticed it was somehow worse than the first time . One of the chicken quesadillas literally had no chicken in it. You would have thought a vegetarian person ordered it and the other quesadilla was burnt on the ends. The “large queso” is sure as hell not a large either especially for $7 . All in all I will not be ordering from here again and will not recommend to anyone

Visited here twice now in the last couple of weeks, and it’s absolutely delicious. Both times I’ve gotten a monstrous grilled carnitas burrito, stuffed full of all my favorite toppings. I love that you can choose anything and everything you want, and that everything is so fresh. I love using their sweet & spicy peach & Vidalia onion sauce, and just drowning everything in that stuff. I also like mixing their two homemade juice flavors together (wait, is it juice or more like lemonade?), for a very refreshing drink. It’s also quick, making it a great lunch option from my office downtown. This is definitely my new favorite Tex-Mex-style place in town!

This place is a literal dumpster fire. A few weeks ago the food prep area was disgusting, the trash overflowing to the point that we were forced to leave our bowls on a table beside the trash can. Placed a to-go order an hour before our arrival, and still waited 25 minutes for it to be ready upon arrival. I told my wife not to go… She learned the hard way! I would literally lock the doors until I could find reliable employees. Love Surcheros, but it will be a really cold day before my family goes back to this location. 4.1⭐️ is an outright lie.

The staff have attitudes because they fail to read the tickets correctly. Items missing in pickup order. Pick up not ready upon arrival. This location lacks leadership, they can’t handle crowds, and portion sizes vary. I’m not sure why management/ owners can’t get this under control. Everyone at this location needs to be retrained.
The food is good areas that need improvement:
•salsa bar not refreshed enough
•portion sizes not consistent
•presentation not consistent
•online orders are “forgotten” about and having to wait even longer
All of the things mentioned above are important I’ve eaten at this location multiple times and it has yet to be consistent. This is disappointing because the one in Tifton is fantastic and always consistent.
