Welcome to Biriyani Tales, where we bring the rich, authentic flavors of Bangladesh to the heart of Bryan-College Station. Our mission is to share the taste of traditional Bangladeshi cuisine using real spices and time-honored recipes, while also introducing our culture—rooted in warmth, simplicity, and hospitality—to our community. To ensure the highest quality, we keep our regular menu intentionally limited, allowing us to focus on flavor, freshness, and consistency. This place rocks!! The food is phenomenal I never tasted biryani before but I don’t regret it there is so much flavor in the rice I never love rice this much!! I never tried rice pudding before but now I love it!! The people who run this food truck are very nice and attentive. I recommend checking these people out they have never missed a beat on making good food for me.

Ordered the chicken curry and naan. It’s so aromatic and flavorful! The chicken was very tender and the gravy has a good amount of heat to it. The person at the counter threw in a pudding for me to try which was very kind of them. Unsurprisingly, it too was incredible. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a shot. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

I tried almost their full menu. The food tastes really awesome. It feels like my mother cooks the food for me. I recommend everyone just to try once there. I don’t think you will go anywhere again. Their biriyani is just next level. Desserts are also super tasty. Price of all the food is very reasonable compared to all other restaurants here at College Station and Bryan. I would say not reasonable. It’s the cheapest one if you compare with other restaurants. The quantity of the food is more than enough. I took half biriyani. But it was more than enough for two people. The food truck is run by the owner themselves who are elderly people. You will feel the warmth of parents. They are very nice hearted people. I would say just go once.

The biriyani is absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced, fragrant, and tastes just like home-cooked meals! You can tell a lot of love and care goes into the food.

The owners are super friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even during busy hours. I also appreciated the generous portions at a great price!

Highly recommend trying their fuchka. It’s crispy, flavorful, and so satisfying! And don’t miss the pudding. It’s the perfect sweet finish to the meal.

So glad there’s finally real Bangladeshi food in town. Having comfort food close by just makes everything better. I’ll definitely be back for more!

I ordered a full Chicken Jhal Fry and half Bhuna Khichuri. The food tasted good, and the flavors were authentic. Although the portion for half Bhuna Khichuri was okay, however ,I was quite disappointed with the portion size for the Chicken Jhal Fry. For a full order priced at $18.99, I received only two small pieces of chicken, which turned out to be just one leg quarter cut into two. The menu didn’t mention how many pieces come with each portion, so it felt misleading. While the taste was good, the portion and pricing didn’t feel reasonable. I would’ve happily ordered again if the value matched the price.

We got the fuchka, goat biriyani, and chicken biriyani. Everything tasted really really good. For the half size of the biriyanis, the portion was really decent. We will be returning here.
The ingredients for fuchkas were in separate containers to make sure they remain fresh at the time of eating.
The uncle and aunty at the food truck were kind and gave us complimentary desserts (payesh/kheer)!!!!

Anyone unsure of how to eat the fuchkas, you make a spoon-size hole on one side of the fuchka shell, fill it up with the chickpea-potato filling, top it up with the cilantro-onion-tomato bits, and finally you put two-three spoonfuls of the tamarind sauce in it.

I ordered Biryani online, and this what I got. It looks very different from how the menu looks like. They called me in uber to informed me that they run off of their chicken and I said without any meat will be fine. They were kind to give me separate chicken dish for free (although I think it’s an exchange of my dessert, cuz I didn’t receive it).

I expect to get a basmati biryani and it looks already mixed up. The morning after I ate this, I really had a bad digestive issues.

I made an online order excited to see a new biryani spot in town. Unfortunately, I had car issues, and I realized could not pick up the order. When I talked to who I assume is the owner, Ryan, to let him know I wouldn’t be able to pick up the order, he generously offered to deliver it himself at no extra charge. Even more shocking, he strongly refused any tips for his service. All he asked was that I try it again. Then comes the biryani. It was well-seasoned, authentic, and a great value for the portion. Do not miss out on this hidden gem. Highly recommend.
