Eddie’s Breakfast & Lunch in Newton is a fantastic spot! I went in early and ordered 4 scrambled eggs with bacon, home fries, and toast, and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and really hit the spot. Eddie himself was very friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. The place was also very clean and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

This is a classic “hole in the wall” type of diner and I say that with love. It’s a fairly small restaurant with a menu to match but it is top quality. I came for breakfast and got the classic 2x2x2 diner breakfast and was extremely satisfied. I wish I had time to come back and try the sandwiches.

This is a great place for a quick, standard, diner breakfast. There’s not a lot of seating. There’s no bathroom. You can order from your table or the counter. It’s absolutely no-frills, and it’s delicious. The prices are really good (like, REALLY really good), and they’re always friendly and service is quick as a whistle. I was only going to give 4 stars, as is my habit, but Eddie’s is truly, exactly, what it is. Enjoy!
