Sombrero’s catered our Employee Party. Chuy arrived early and had the taco bar set-up for the start of the party. The food was amazing and we were very happy with the service as well! We will definitely be hiring Sombreros again!

We ate here before going to Tube Tahoe which is right down the street from this place. I got the ramen birria 100/10 it was sooo good!! My bf got the burrito which was huge he took it to go. Beer is available. Would def recommend before hitting the snow!

This is one of the most expensive Mexican restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. I bought two super burritos and two bottles of coke for 45$. In town you can eat for nearly 20$ less. Or even across the street at Frescanos you get a higher grade flavoring and higher quality food, nicer restaurant and patio and you will pay less. No small coke bottle or can options.

Let me write something good about that cafe!The staff is very nice,we just got a very heavy traffic and my kids want to the toilet,they allow us to go to the bathroom without buy any food!Thank you staff and thank you to owners!

I just returned from a 70th birthday party that was catered by Sombreros and I am so incredibly impressed. The food was top quality, plentiful and it presented well. The service was exceptional, too. It’s nice to know there is a place in town that can make a party great. I’m a fan. Now, I need to get to the restaurant.

Ordered 2 fish tacos and three carne asada tacos. The fish for my fish taco was cut in half and put on a single tortilla to make two fish taco. My husband street taco was pathetic. Barely anything inside but sauce. We went to the Genoa Candy Dance festival. If you were running out of ingredients, stop selling. $14 for two fish tacos and $14 for three tacos were not worth it.

Came here for some street tacos on Cinco de mayo. They were yummy. My son ate his and ordered more he said they were so good. He also got a free churro for Cinco de mayo. The staff was very friendly.

Fish tacos were so dry. The fish either had freezer burn or was fried once before and fried again for the order. It was so tough to chew. Expensive for lackluster food.
