When I scored a reservation I was hesitant because I heard this place was a “one and done” type of place. We were pleasantly surprised. We found the drinks and food very good and the pirate atmosphere fantastic. We got the Island Provisions and Kraken’s Catch to eat and the Lit Fuse and Hibiscus Rum Royal to drink. It is of course pricey, but expected in Disney. I would definitely recommend!

We arrived a bit early for our reservation time but we still were able to be seated in just a few minutes. The pirate theme is well executed and several special effects happened while we were there for our 45 minute slot. The cast members were funny as they really got into their roles during the storm. We actually didn’t need all of the 45 minutes to get our orders in, enjoy a couple of drinks and to take pictures and video of the location. We enjoyed the food, drinks and show and had an overall good time. They were able to accomodate my wife’s food allergy with a tasty dish she enjoyed.

Well… it’s in constant movement and talking. At times a little loud. (Kind of like that other cantina at Galaxys Edge) Cast members are quickly getting your beverages and treats… and good thing too, you’ll have 45 minutes. All ages welcome. Could be a once and done for some folks, but there are a lot of menu items to try… so probably worth dropping in every once in a while. Prices are reasonable for Disney. (FYI, no drinks can be taken out, so any of you who drink heartily may have to sip slowly. Haha) Watch one of the reviews from a blogger for a heads up.

We had a fabulous time at Beak & Barrel! I got lucky in finding a reservation someone canceled the night prior and got to visit midday with my husband.
They placed us in the map room. At first this was confusing as this room is standing room only. We mentioned this to the waitress and she was kind enough to bring me a stool to rest my ankle. Once more guests came in we had even more fun chatting and sharing recommendations with them, as we all shared one large table. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better! Our waiter was great and we loved the theming.
They do make it clear that there is a 45 minute limit and 2 drink limit. This did not bother us, but other reviewers seemed upset by it. I think it really helps set the tone in this pub and it makes sense given the limited food options. It’s a pub! Treat it as such. Go here for a drink or two and then set sail back on your Magic Kingdom adventure!

During our recent trip to Orlando this past October, we had the pleasure of dining at The Beak and Barrel inside Disney World’s Magic Kingdom —not once, but twice! Both visits, one late at night and the other midday, were absolutely fantastic.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. The décor is a feast for the eyes, with lots to look at and even a few little shows that add to the fun experience. The crew, as they call their staff, were phenomenal, providing exceptional service with a friendly flair.
While the menu isn’t large, each item is crafted with care. I absolutely loved the Cook’s Corn Cake with Chipotle Braised Chicken, a delightful blend of flavors that left me craving more. The Port of Call was another standout drink that I highly recommend.
My husband couldn’t get enough of the Siren’s Whisperer cocktail, and of course, he had to take home the tiki mug that came with the Plunderer’s Punch—a fun souvenir from a memorable meal.
Though there’s a 45-minute time limit similar to Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars, it only adds to the lively, bustling atmosphere. The Beak and Barrel is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Magic Kingdom Park. We can’t wait to go back!

This is the best new bar on Disney property. Based on Pirates of the Caribbean, and right outside of the ride, this place takes themed bars to a whole new level.
As soon as you walk in, you’re transported into a pirate lair, complete with model ships, looted treasure, great chairs, a fireplace, and an absolutely massive bar. There’s an animatronic parrot doing bits, along with great scenes happening every 15 minutes or so where the whole place comes to life.
There are a bunch of incredibly themed and tasty drinks, along with a few food items. Everything was delicious and strong. The staff gets in on the pirate fun, staying in character, playing up the atmosphere, and offering their recommendations.
Do yourself a favor and check out this spiritual successor to Trader Sam’s!

This is the Magic Kingdoms first actual bar, interesting they get away with letting kids in, but that’s the part of this review.
You aren’t going to come able to get in by walking up unless the planets align perfectly, so keep trying to get a reservation.
The drink I had was very good and had plenty of rum.
We tried a dessert plate that included a non alcoholic drink too. It was very good.
Our table mates got the chicken pita kinda thing. They enjoyed that.
My only complaint is the menu is it’s very small. Also needs more traditional fair mixed with some of the unique choices they have.
Other than that it’s a fun place and I didn’t see anyone not enjoying themselves.

Such a fun bar and experience! The staff was so into the theme and it was very entertaining. Our bartender Timo was great! The drinks were really good! Typical Disney prices, so don’t expect a cheap option. So glad there is finally a place to get a drink at Magic Kingdom!

We were able to make a same-day reservation, but still waited about 30 minutes for a table. That said, the theming is impressive. If you’re a fan of pirates, the atmosphere really delivers. The cast members are fully in character, and Disney clearly put a lot of effort into creating an immersive experience.
I ordered a non-alcoholic drink made with coconut milk, chocolate cookie crumbs, and topped with whipped cream or vanilla froth and a cookie. Unfortunately, the drink didn’t quite meet expectations. There were no actual cookie pieces—just small chocolate fragments—and the cookie on top was extremely thin. It was fine, but underwhelming overall.
My girlfriend ordered two alcoholic drinks and wasn’t particularly impressed with either; one she barely drank at all. We didn’t try any food, as the menu was very limited and nothing stood out to us. We stayed for the full 45-minute allotted time.
Overall, this place has a lot of potential, but it fell short for us. The drinks were very similar to one another and not especially memorable. While the prices were typical for Disney, they didn’t feel justified based on the quality.

We ordered the Plunderer’s punch (pirate head cup), the Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale and 2 of the Cursed Treasure (in metal mug). The first 2 drinks are adult only alcohol drinks. The Cursed Treasure is alcohol free, kiddo friendly. My son absolutely loved them!
I loved the alcohol drinks as well. They were well made and worth the money. Not full of just ice or syrup, actual quality drinks.
The ambiance was super fun! Every 20 min or so, the parrot would come out and talk, get the crowd involved in a song, or something would happen in the pub to make it an immersive experience. The whole thing was very well done and really neat for pirate fans! Family friendly and gluten free menu available!
