This has to be one of the best Jamaican restaurants I had in awhile specially in LA. I usually spend a lot of my time in the east coast where the standards for Jamaican food is high. This place definitely has that authentic Jamaican taste. I highly recommend it!

I had the curried goat with a side of plantains. It was absolutely delicious! So much so that I forgot to take a picture until the goat was eaten The overall atmosphere was relaxed and soothing, and it was great value for the price. Definitely one to keep on my list!

From the moment we walked in, the aroma alone told me we were in for something special. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. The jerk chicken was beautifully seasoned with just the right amount of heat, smoky and tender without being overpowering. The oxtail was rich and comforting, falling right off the bone. Even the rice and peas and plantains were perfectly done, which I always think says so much about a kitchen.
The portions are generous, the prices feel fair, and the staff is warm and welcoming. You can tell this is food made with pride. It’s the kind of place that feels casual and unpretentious but delivers deeply satisfying, authentic flavor.
We will absolutely be back. A wonderful local spot that deserves every bit of praise.

Amazing jerk chicken and they have a soursop sea moss drink that’s incredible. Very nice staff as well. Limited parking in the front but plenty of parking in the back. Beautiful park near by with lots of picnic tables. I’ll definitely be coming back.

The food was yummy! I got jerk chicken and it was delish! I like that the jerk chicken was grilled and not baked. Flavorful without the sauce which is great! They also allow you to pick an extra sauce to go on the rice which is also nice!

Wow, wow, wow! This is my new favorite Jamaican spot in LA! They’ve made quite an impression, and I’ve been back three times this week! The food is cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and all the staff is incredibly kind.
We tried their beef patty, jerk chicken, and jerk shrimp pasta. The patty is perfectly flaky with a delightful crunch. The jerk chicken is seasoned to perfection, and the chicken meat is incredibly tender and juicy. The jerk pasta is bursting with flavor, and the shrimp is cooked and seasoned amazingly!
If you’re craving some real authentic jamaican food, I definitely recommend this place!

Taste Jamaica is so yummy! The jerk chicken is cooked on a grill right there, so you’re getting that authentic Jamaican taste and not something from the oven. The sides are tasty and fresh. Everything is cooked daily. The house made juices are a must have! Once you try it try for yourself, you’ll be hooked!
